KosmicG Why did you right this essay? Did you even read what I even said? I said *"just skill and talent wise is a top 5 C"* DID I flat out say Cousins was a top 5 C ever? NO. I said just *based off skill and talent*. He is easily one of the top 5 most talented big men ever to play. Not many Centers ever can do what he does offensively, overall talent wise. Shoot threes, fast breaks, pass like a guard, take bigs off the dribble, crossovers, in and out dribbles, post up game, face up game, spin moves, stepback jumpers, soft touch at the rim, hit free throws. clearly based off achievements Cousins isn't a top 5 c to play, but he is one of the most SKILLED So please, next time read what I said before writing a 5 paragraph english essay that I wont even bother reading

+KosmicG skill wise he is genius he has no offensive weakness, he can handle the ball with either hand, finish with both hands, drive to the rim like a small forward, pass, shoot midrange shots both set and off the dribble, and can hit spot up 3s, every other center you named had a flaw kareem didnt have great ball handle and couldnt hit midrang jumpers off the dribble or drive to the rim like a small forward shaq wasnt a good freethrow shooter and didnt have great range wilt didnt have range either and couldnt pick and pop the only other center skill wise that had no flaws offensively was hakeem who had great ball handle with either hand could pull up off the dribble, hit FTs, finish strong and with finnese, pass and etc. with wilt and kareem and others there are things that you can say "those guys arent comfortable doing" with players like cousins and hakeem its not really anything you can force them to do that they arent good at doing they are farrrrr more versatile offensively which is why he is top skill and talent wise and i didnt even add in his size and athleticism which also makes it even tougher.
@litgod63709 жыл бұрын
+Chef Curry he is slow he doesnt understand what skill wise meansIn terms off ofensive versatility and skill only him and hakeem are the only centers where i cant point out something they cant do offensively while most others like shaq, wilt, kareem bill and other i can point out a bunch of thing they had major flaws at whether shooting 15 foot jumpers, inability to hit FTs, inability to drive off with either hand or ball handle, inability to run the floor with the ball and etc. with cousins and hakeem only flaws i can think of are things that have nothing to do with offensive skill sets

People need to watch full Kings games to notice how UNSTOPPABLE this man right is! Highlights don't do him justice. He's a fckin' MONSTER waiting to feast on whoever's inside everytime he gets the ball. Watching him will make your skin crawl! Might not have the legacy yet, but skill set alone makes this man a Top 5 C EVER. Which C can really shoot 3s and pass and dribble up-court like a guard? There were only 3 Cs who physically dominated the league: Wilt, Shaq, Dwight (people may not like this but Orlando Dwight was pretty unstoppable post moves or not) and now COUSINS.

+KayJayA7X Top 5 Centers ever, are you delusional? How is he better than Wilt, Bill Russel, Hakeem, Kareem and Shaq. Are you joking or what? Lets compare their stats and achievements to Boggies: DeMarcus: 19.4 PPG, 1.1 BPG, 2.4 APG. 10.7 RPG and 1.4 SPG while shooting at 46% from the field. Achievements: All Rookie First Team. Hakeem: 21.8 PPG, 3.1 BPG, 2.5 APG, 11.1 RPG and 1.7 SPG while shooting at 51% from the field. Achievements: x2 NBA Champion, MVP, x2 NBA Finals MVP's, x2 DPOY, x6 All NBA First Team, x5 All Defensive First Team and 12 All Star selections, also All time leader in Blocks. Bill Russell: 15.1 PPG, Blocks were not recorded during his career, 4.3 APG and 22.5 RPG all while shooting at 44% from the field. Achievements: x11 NBA Champions, x5 MVP's, x12 All Star selections, x3 NBA First Team, x8 NBA Second Team, NBA All Defensive First Team. Wilt Chamberlain: 30.1 PPG, 22.9 RPG, Blocks were not counted in his career, 4.4 APG all while shooting at 72% from the field. Achievements: x2 NBA Champion, Finals MVP, x13 All Star selections, x7 All NBA First team, x2 All Defensive First Team, NBA ROY, NBA All time leader in Rebounds and has the most points in one game with 100. Shaq: 23.7 PPG, 10.9 RPG, 2.3 BPG and 2.5 APG, shooting at 58% from the field. Achievements: x4 NBA Champion, x3 Finals MVP's, MVP, x15 All Star Selections, x8 All NBA first team, NBA ROY. Kareem: 24.6 PPG, 2.6 BPG, 11.2 RPG and 3.6 APG while shooting at 56% from the field. Achievements: x6 NBA Champion, x6 MVP, x2 Finals MVP, x19 All Star selections, x10 All NBA First team, x5 All Defensive First Team, NBA ROY and he is the NBA All time leading scorer with 38,387 points. So really who is better, these five or Boogie? Obviously these five.
@BellinghamJude9 жыл бұрын
KosmicG DeMarcus is 24 and a player's prime is scientifically proven to be around 27-29, and for big men, it's even later. 19.4 PPG and 10.7 RPG are MONSTROUS numbers for someone this young. And even scarier, what makes DeMarcus Cousins great is his skill set and his floor game, which do not age. Dude is not very fast nor does he jump high but he knows how to use his body. These things do not AGE. This man is gonna have a long career and is just getting started. Put those stats aside and just look at his talent. Can Bill, Wilt or Kareem do what this guy does? Even Shaq can't shoot 3s, dribble the ball full court or hit his FTs. Cousins can easily be a Top 5 C when the time comes.
@TheKosmicGladiator9 жыл бұрын
+KayJayA7X He may be in the future, but now he's not even top ten.
@trungasi9 жыл бұрын
I think you're confusing the game today and back then. It's easy to say hes better than legends because of his skillset but over times players get better. Thats like saying Steph is the best pg ever behind Magic. It's hard to compare skillset but what u can compare is accomplishments. Dmc still has a future ahead so we should wait a little before making assumptions
@BellinghamJude9 жыл бұрын
KosmicG Obviously no one meant that RIGHT NOW, Cousins is already Top 5. Dude, come on. He doesn't even have a MVP or a ring. But we can all tell that the potential is there. He's mad talented. If Kareem and Shaq can dominate the league with all that, I don't see why Cousins can't. Dude is probably the most all-rounded skilled C we've ever seen.

Cousins is such a dominant player, not just on offense but also on defense. He can post up, drive to the basket with either hand, run the fast break, shoot the three, find his teammates on backdoor cuts, and he can guard the post and protect the rim quite well. Problem is, most of the Kings guards are horrible defenders, and thus opponents can easily get to the paint and make open threes.

@sohaminyoh9 жыл бұрын
+d man I thought you would never ask. The reason why cousins is so overrated is because he is a highly inefficient scorer. The most accurate stat for scoring is offensive rating because it tells you the amount of points scored per 100 possessions so it tells you about field goals as well as free throws. Since cousins is a leading scorer that shoots around 20 shots per game let's compare him to other players that do the same. Curry, Westbrook and LeBron have offensive ratings of 127, 114, and 113, respectively. Cousins? 105. This is relatively bad especially considering that he has the highest usage pct in the league. He could make up for it by not Turning the ball over but he does and he does it about 4 times a game. Westbrook also turns the ball 4 times a game but he makes up for it by being an efficient scorer and by being a nightly triple double threat. Can you say the same about Cousins? I think not. That isn't to say that Cousins isn't one of the most skilled big men in the league
@sohaminyoh9 жыл бұрын
+d he is also improving but he needs to have monster nights like these in order for him not to have a negative impact on the game because let's not forget that he had 7 turnovers this game. Once he gets his offensive rating up to at least 110 and he leads his team to the playoffs, we could consider him a top 20 player. But rn? I don't think so
