Because backup bigs are expected to defend and rebound, rarely do teams need a back up big who can score etc. I Love boogie but this is why.

Cousins after injuries couldn't defend a brick wall. He cam be as talented as he wants.... a Center anchors your defense and gets boards. He no longer couldn't do either at a good level. Its reasons cousins isnt in the game anymore. Father was stalking cousins since college 🙄

Man I appreciate the Duncan Homage because he is literally a top 5 player and one of the most complete players. Many people only remember his later years when he was old and much slower but he was literally dominant on both sides. He was strong as hell too cause like Demarcus said he couldn’t do nothing with him. His defense, fundamentals, skill and automatic mid range would’ve translated in any era.

I love his CP3 take. BC it is 100 accurate. CP3 hasn`t one anything. Except the crwon on being the only player, who blew 5 (!) 2-0 playoffs leads with his teams. And if anyone claims it wasn`t on him, watch the series again. He made crucial mistakes over and over again in crunch times..

When Tim Duncan retired. Boogie stated that TD was the best PF of all time When Boogie was playing against TD. This is when Timmy was 38 yrs old averaging 15 & 10 & 2 blks. Giving young boogie the business & his respect

My uncle coach him In Birmingham and he always trained his big man to be able to play the wing and dribble etc because when my uncle got to college and being 6’3 and his high school coach always made him play center slowed his game down in college and had to redevelop
