I wasn't aware this song is so many people's firsts. And a demetori song at that one too. Personally the first touhou song I've heard was Cirno's theme in PoFV back in 2017 yet I only got into touhou in 2020 I have seen some old memes back then like Night of Nights and stuff but I wasn't really aware of their origins

The two characters are Renko Usami (left) and Maribel Hearn (right). The reporter with the dark clothes that you mention is probably the tengu known as Aya Shameimaru.
