I like to go the extra mile, so I normalized the entire outro sequence (up until where the quantization noise is really noticeable) by hand so instead of a fadeout there is a proper ending ^^

The sound so somber and sad. I love it. I feel like Letty would be a tragic character except we don't know any of her backstory. But maybe that's just the song making me feel that. Yeah, probably is this song making me feel that. Some parts of this sound like the credit theme to Letty's video game.

The fade out is because the "ressentiment," the state of mind, does not end easily. The grief continues to sear and harass, twisting the melody that is life until there is a resolution, or death. I agree, it sounds better without it...But I can only imagine this is why they did it.
