not really, i haven't played any of the games. why? as for touhou bands, i've tried giving a few of them a shot, but none of them can touch Demetori's mastery of music. (and an update to my original post: i've listened to Demetori's entire discography + all of the guitarist Tokunan's work, and they are now my fav band :D)

The best way to experience doujin/touhou composition, is to actually play the games. it inhances everything, trust me. As for the groups that arrange the music, as much as I love the dynamic duo known as Demetori, they are but one of the many masters of arrangement in the huge spectrum. I implore you to branch out and even put some time in to the games. (Touhou 7 first, trust me, best OST)
