The way you chose to shoot this from behind so we can spy on you feels kinda deep. And its beautiful. so thanks for sharing.

Shots from the back in cinematography is supposed to represent mysteriousness. Not really knowing what the person being focused on is feeling. You’ll see shots like this a lot in shows like ‘Mad Men’ and ‘The Sopranos’. Usually moreso for quiet moments, but the point still stands with a deep convo like this
@Xero5273Ай бұрын
@@Classikh This seems like such a simple yet effective way of communicating underlying emotion and intention through the screen. Maybe i'll check out some of those movies you mentioned😁. 'Shots from the back" is kinda crazy tho

What’s makes this so refreshing is that it seems like a real wholesome conversation that just happened to be recorded

i think that’s what it ended up being ,, not having a camera in your face makes it so much more real and genuine + easy to forget that you’re recording the whole thing and gonna upload it later hahaha

This was wholesome, like a bomb-ass eclectic salad (if you know, you know). Watching artists like y’all talk about an array of topics, both big and small, inspires me to make art more than anything else. I’m 28 and in my relational and experiential development era, so I usually watch y’all for the laughs, but this felt different. There’s been a disconnect I’ve had from y’all’s human side, and I really appreciate the depth you gave us here. It helps me humanize not just y’all but also myself. Hearing Tony talk about the whys, hows, and whats of loving openly-and Meech’s journey toward self-acceptance, balancing his flaws and corrections-really resonated. And omg, yes, many houseless and shelterless folks in LA. The city should feel encouraged to help, but that starts with individuals like y’all learning and doing what you can when you can. I live in my car with my partner aka privileged houselessness-though it’s not a choice, just a struggle we’ve had to adapt to. What I’ve learned is we’re all just trying to maintain a sense of safety until something fair comes up from us or to us and sometimes it never happens. So from the bottom of my heart I wanna say with, or maybe even for, yall-fuck billionaires🖕🏾 Anywho, y’all have helped me get out of depression and all that heavy stuff more times than I can count. The triggers of happiness often overcomes the triggers of trauma, so keep serving us (or don’t)-just keep finding those healthy balances in your lives, and I’ll keep supporting. 🫱🏾🫲🏻 🤝🏾 Peace and love to y’all 💁🏾♀️✨

Meech and Tony are two of my fav content creators out rn. Especially Tony. He’s so real, funny ash but he isn’t afraid to be unequivocally himself. He’s always true to who he is and he don’t care what anyone think about it. I find myself gravitating back to his channel and streams just because he’s inspirational to me to grow as a person. I love Tony and Meech. Hope to see them grow beyond the small screen when they’re ready

They such a good duo, i be wanting them to make a channel together. And, this is what i think of adulthood friendships. Like, some other people think of going to the club or drinking or sum. I want the friendship where we can sit, chill, talk, and just be ourselves. But, at the same time, friends aint something for me unless that person is basically me. Which is obviously impossible. I genuinely enjoy being by myself and it isnt anything wrong with that.

19:39 mannnn that fear of falling off is so real. I can tell you from my experience as somebody who shifted content styles and temporarily privated my most popular videos, it definitely does suck to lose everything you've been working for, but I promise it's not as bad as you think. Just know that it's impossible to reset you to zero. You've already impacted people in ways you just don't see, and you can always rebuild from halfway easier than you did from when you were at zero

To hear them talk about asking "Why" in the beginning is dope to see. As a jit, I used to get whooped because I asked why and it was never to be intrusive or question the action. I genuinely just wanted to know how someone got to that conclusion. Now, growing up in a poor black family we all know that ain't happening, double up on the fact that I am the son of Jamaican immigrants, questioning of any nature is out. Idk, I really like that part. Stuck with me.

Really awesome video. I used to work at the Pistons and I met you at a game with ya mans T. It was dope just meeting you in person and the brief conversation that we had I could tell you were down to earth based off of the questions you asked me. I make tiktok videos in the sports world and im not big or anything like that but I was at a point where I felt like I was just making content to try to chase numbers and I believe that now after removing myself from that approach Im making content that I genuinely have a passion for or want to create. 19:30 you hit it on the nose

I've been having this conversation with a lot of creatives recently. My platform and revenue dont scale to their level but its genuinely bizarre to transitions into a space where something enjoy pays your way. I don't know many people who've learned to reconcile with it in a way I find preferable, I've only grown more empathetic to these people's circumstances.
