With practice and prior repetition, you’d be surprised what you can actually do really trashed. You just kind of go through the motions. I also feel like, from my experience at least if you practice/preform a song and lot, it’s so hard to mess it up. Sometimes your body will just tap out, but I noticed I used to mainly mess up on the easy parts and get the harder parts fine. Glad to be sober now lol.

Knowing what we know now, I wouldn't have guessed that she was hungover in this performance. She nailed it. I don't know how she didn't fall in those shoes. It just goes to show that you have no idea what someone is going through in their life. She put on a show for the cameras, but behind the scenes she was going through a rough time. Watching this performance, you wouldn't even know it. I have so much more love and respect for her, even more so now since watching her documentary, Simply Complicated. She's an amazing, incredible, and talented person.

And this is singing people.Demi has a belting range which is strong and accessed via healthy technique which means Demi actually sings the notes, oppose to shouting them out. It's not like others singers who doesn't keep a neutral larynx and belts are very forced, throaty, and coarse. Demi has a good voice and also a good technique. Way to go girl!

She is such a strong, inspirational lady with real talent. Definitely one of the best women in the entertainment industry these days. Shes so beautiful and classy doesn't have to curse or sexualise her songs for them to sell, can actually sing and carries herself with such grace - she is a fighter and I never really used to listen to her but her story has helped a lot of people and I just think she's incredible woman :-)

This was one of my favourite performances. And then saw the documentary when she said she was severely hungover during this and my heart dropped. But it does prove that one rehab stint doesn't solve everything. It's all about the steps you take after treatment. Proud of her for coming forth and taking those steps.

Rewatching this clip. "She was hungover in this performance" WTF!!!! 😮😮😮 Took some balls to admit she was still using during her "comeback" years and preaching soberity. Not many people would have done that.

I feel like even though this was one of her breaking points that she just couldn't help it with all this fame at such a young age. I am so proud of how far she has come from this yes she did relapse but she is still the love of my life!

Okay to EVERYONE coming here after watching ‘simply complicated’ don’t discredit this performance to her just being hungover, this performance has so much energy, she has fire in her eyes, and idk don’t @ me but I’m not gunna hate on the Unbroken era just because she was still dealing with her addictions and problems.
