with those notes going sharp, it's at least exposing how high she can really take her voice if she puts true effort into it. she said in a behind the scenes video before the live performance that she was scared of the big note. so it's really just nerves.

Love Demi’s vocals, but in SNS she hit A#5 ( sharp and not controlled) instead of hitting A5 which shows the lack in control (that’s normal sometimes). Plus at SOMT Demi hit all the notes but the tone is not the best ( I know it’s hard to hit them at the first place but I prefer to not hit them if they will sound harsh sometimes ). I feel technically Demi is better in her belts, head voice, falsetto and also better musicality for the runs, and even easier high belts but sometimes sounds harsher.

@@Bluerock121 she definitely still has it, in 2017 she sang endless love in her shower (recorded by her son) and she sounded just like she did in her prime (search for "mariah carey endless love shower" and you'll see), because she was in a humid place and also, she wasn't suffering from her horrible stage fright. she just doesn't have the ease anymore when it comes to the high belts and it's natural since she's not 25 anymore but 53.
