I think Demi always tries her best, but isn't always well educated on a lot of things. Just because you've fucked up or made bad descions doesn't always make you a bad person. I think she's very sweet and tries to be good, but sometimes her mental health and the pressure get to her. But I think she's crazy talented and I wish people would just listen to the music rather than judging gossip and what's going on in their life. I think it's cool she puts so much of her trauma into her music.

Like people day to day say and do way more problematic shit (and mean it!) but because she's famous and people really love to pay attention to her given how intense and public her life has been, she doesn't get the same kind of compassion and room to make mistakes. And I don't blame her for back tracking or even not apologizing for all the things people love to yell at her for. She doesn't owe anyone anything. I wouldn't want to spend my life answering to strangers on the internet either! I'm happy she lives her live unapologetically, makes mistakes, picks herself up, and is doing shit her way. Off the top of my head pop singers who try to be well informed and respectful of things that are happening right now? ... Pink? Lady Gaga? Harry Styles.. Marina. Obviously they're humans and have made mistakes too, but when they do something its usually with a good intention, and don't keep backtracking. I love Demi, I think shes just lost, but i have supported her since camp rock days, and i don't think she deserves the hate she gets, her new album seems like shes getting more to grips with who she is. :)
