She is the only person that would announce a relapse in an apologetic song. (She did not need to apologize) Even though she had an OD it was not her fault. She is not in control. But come on people. 6 years Sober is definitely not easy. Congrats for getting through the OD and everything. We all love you Demi.

I totally agree as a veteran and someone who works with veterans (mostly post9/11) I loved this song. All of us have a different levels when and how things affect you. I have my issues but sometimes you have to learn to swallow that pride pill and ask for help. And I can tell you it’s tough for a military member or someone in the spotlight to do that. I can only imagine what’s like for her. Thoughts and prayers

Why are people like this considered “brave” or “inspirational”? Because she’s famous and beautiful? Lol. The world is so backwards. The ones who are BRAVE and INSPIRATIONAL are the ones who face their problems without needing “alcohol/drug courage” or needing those things to “escape” their problems. We have enough drug addicts and alcoholics making an impression on the younger generations that drugs and alcohol are the only things to turn to when life gets tough. We need to stop glamorizing people like Demi and so many others and put the true stronger people in the limelight of how to deal with life problems. I really do hope she gets the help she needs; I do realize she has more problems than just the drinking and drugging herself up but it’s scary seeing so many people making her out to be a “martyr” or something. 🙄
@kaileymarie31076 жыл бұрын
MexicanJL970 i don’t think that’s the intent when people say that she is brave or inspirational. she is everything of those two titles because she came out and owned up to her mistakes and had come to terms with it. a lot of people suffering from addiction don’t even realize they are an addict, and the fact that she can not only realize that but write and preform a song with so much depth and meaning is truly impeccable. not to mention the fact that she is shedding light on such a sensitive topic. you say she isn’t brave because she resorts to drugs and alcohol, but her opening up about it to millions when many individuals can’t even open up about their struggles of addiction to their parents proves my very point. none of what she is going through is easy, and for her to reach out and try to get help is nothing short of inspiring. xx

Here after Anyone... It's insane how nobody on her team cared enough about her to help her... She's made it perfectly clear that she needed help. I'm so grateful for her recovery and her new team. I'll always love Demi. From her Barney days, until the very end, and after ❤️ I've been a recovering addict since I was 16. Her music has helped me and her story has inspired me time and time again when I've felt like I was lost. My friend recently relapsed and overdosed. When Anyone came out, I know you inspired her too, Demi. It's sickening what this disease does to people....how many lives it tries to control....how many lives it takes.... I'm listening today to remind myself of that dark place....and to never go back there. Thank you, Demi. Thank you so much for being a continuing inspiration to me and a huge part of my life.

My heart. I love this song so much. It hits me hard as my dad was an alcoholic from the age of 12-4O and he managed to give it up and he’s been sober for 2 years and 4 months and I always used to tell him when he was in hospital for months when quitting that if you could do so young that he could do it and he kept fighting. He almost died from it and telling him about you and how much I looked up to you it kept him fighting and he’s still here. I’m here by your side in spirit through everything. You’re an inspiration and one of my biggest hero’s. Keep fighting beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

Adrianna Springer It's not negative IT's FACTS, ya know THE TRUTH? And yeah it is super clear people care SO MUCH about her enough to let her continue her bad behavior, enough to not stop her, they even loved her enough to let her OD. YEP, sounds like she has a whole ton of people that care about her hahah You have NO LOGIC. Nope. Sorry hun, never gonna happen to someone like I! Unlike trash, I value my life my goals and those around me. I would never ever ever do that to my family and friends. I think of my loved ones always with love. Meaning every choice I make effects those around you! I would never be so heartless to make the choice she made, she hurt so many people. But then again I'm mentally sound, she isn't. I don't surround myself with users of any kind, so can't relate. Also learned how to spell or at least spell check? LOL
