I loved everything about this film. The aesthetic, how camp it is at times, all the references (from Carpenter and Cronenberg to movies like Black Swan, Carrie, Death Becomes Her, horror b series films, etc), the way it keeps getting crazier until the end, all the topics it touches and the way it illustrates them

I watched this last night and I was absolutely enthralled the entire time. The last 15 minutes had me IN TEARS LAUGHING/DYING at what was going on, I don't think I've laughed that hard in a comedy movie let alone a horror. I have never been so disruptive during a movie by how hard I was laughing. That ending was perfection.

It’s actually not ironic at all, she’s the perfect person to speak on this topic and issue as she’s gone through first hand experience of it her self. It is not ironic. It’s poetic fitting and beautiful that she is able to come out of that to a level of comfort with herself to be able to create a film and dialogue about it.

The problem with these kinds of movies about aging is that it never includes men who are just as concerned from my experience
@Cooley3603 ай бұрын
Well, Dennis Quaid and “the shareholders” are all old men and still at the top of their success which is very true to Hollywood. They don’t face that same societal beauty pressure yet they have no qualms enforcing it on women.

Demi Moore's going to provide us with some substance on the topics of aging and perfectionism? I'm sorry, huh? From a person who's had so much plastic surgery she is absolutely unrecognizable from the person she was 20 years ago? Really?
@monicamanzano34582 ай бұрын
She is just as beautiful as she was 20 years ago, don't be jealous.
@Jelismiles2 ай бұрын
Yeah, I’d say she definitely has some knowledge on what that’s like. In the 90s she was seen as one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood, and yes she has aged and gone through surgeries to maintain that beauty, been harshly criticized for it too. So yeah she probably has plenty of knowledge on what it’s like to deal with aging and perfectionism…
