@@PlayaP69 Well, you have some part in truth in your comment, assuming that the children were someone elses was bad, yet the way she addressed them, later the cleaning lady and later the parents... was not polite at all. The kids may need to be punished for entering and touching something personal that's not theirs, I get it, but whooped? No.

Star light LOL. What would be an idea of punishment? 😁
@PlayaP69
@PlayaP69 5 жыл бұрын
@thedeadmemer I'm not disagreeing with you. All I'm saying is negative reinforcement encourages children's negative behavior. Find what works for your children to not only encourage positive behavior, but lightens their desire to do something negative. And scolding the person whose intention was to encourage not doing something negative in front of kids makes them feel like they got a one up and encouraged continuous negative behavior.
@Libellulaire
@Libellulaire 4 жыл бұрын
@@PlayaP69 The kids didn't do anything bad though. They got the permission to play with those items from an adult, and they were being careful (they didn't break anything.) Yeah, you need to ground your kids and teach them not to do bad things, but if you punish them for something they were allowed to do and were careful about, then you're also a bad parent.

He wants to treat the people within his company well? He didn't treat Lynette well when he found out she was pregnant and with hormones and unwanted pregnancy stress she had grounds to sue him. I think his behaviour as a boss was worse than a woman loosing her temper for a split seccond
@НиколайКалугин-м2б
@НиколайКалугин-м2б 3 жыл бұрын
Because she lied to him. It is ok to sue your boss in this situation. It is not OK to sue your friend. She got this job only thanks to Gaby, thanks to Gaby once again she got a high salary, she begged Gaby once again to stop Carlos. Carlos shouldn't have hired her at first, because Lynnet doesn't have boundaries and can't respect him as a boss.
@alcudiababe1

@@НиколайКалугин-м2б no that doesn't sound like Lynette. Don't forget she was a shark too in line of the business world, better at it than Tom. Yes maybe there was a fine line between boss and friend as they are neighbours and it is tricky especially when he's her best friends husband but don't forget Gabby begged her to take the job in the first place. Gabby tried pushing her only because she wanted a spy to keep an eye on Carlos! Lynette was going to take another job!!

Man! I have a 3 year old nephew. He does worst things than this. You know how many times I have yelled at him? None! Zero! Nada! And he even broke my stereo/radio, whatever it's called. His dad bought me a new one later, but I had no idea he would do that. You see, kids are kids. And yes, she yelled at the cleaning lady, but I did not yelled at my brother either.

Kids shouldn't play with other people's stuff without permission, period. They should behave, especially in the workplace. Parents are responsible for that, even if you are the boss.

I hired a baby sitter once and on her first day she arrived a bit late (never a good sign), i had to go to work so i let her in and told her that the kids were all around the house and that my spouse would be with her shortly and to make herself at home until then. She went straight to the kids and started chitchatting with them. I left, and my partner joined her shortly after finishing taking care of the garden. The sitter gave my spouse a strange look but explained that everything was ok, she had been briefed by me and that she had the situation under control After a while, my japanese spouse who had just finished pruning the Bonsai in the Patio went into the living and then around the house and noticed that the baby sitter had been taking care two kids while ignoring the other kids around and asked the sitter why two kids were outside in the garden by themselves and one upstairs in his room . The nanny said that she had been hired to take care of Mr Olfursson's kids only, not the gardner's and that she couldn't understand what the girls where saying as they spoke chinese all the time . My spouse called me and explained to me the situation , in japanese. I told the nanny that all five kids were ours, that my spouse was NOT the gardener but that HE was my husband , and that the girls were speaking Japanese not Chinese but were also perfectly fluent in English, French. Spanish, German, Icelandic, Arabic and Russian as so did the others. I also told her that the kids were all adopted and if that was the reason why she only took care of the white ones and left the Asian , latin and Middle Eastern ones to fend for themselves ? She gave me a bit of a look and then added that she didn't know she was going to work for a gay couple with adopted kids and thought i was divorced or that my wife died. I asked her what difference it made ? She said , no difference at all, she just wished she had been made aware of it . I told her that the agency should have made her aware of that and that this was the reason why we went through the best agency in town. Anyway now she knew and i explained to her that from now on every kid should get the same attention. A few days later one of my kid , the one originally from the middle east told me that the baby sitter told him that they came from the same country , except her country had been taken over by his but that they were going to get it back eventually. The next day i summoned the sitter to my office and asked her if she told my Palestinian son that his country of origin had stolen hers and that it would soon be part of hers . She looked down . I told her , then i assume you are from Israel , she said yes, i told her that in my house Palestine was a country and Israel was another , and that none belonged to the other . Before she left i told her that working for a gay couple was the last of her concerned and that since she believed it was ok to tell my son that his country would belong to hers soon it was only fair of me to let her know that my grand father packed a few trains to Dachau and Auschwitz and that if she wonders in the west wing of the house (this is a 500 years old manor) she might stumble upon some german memorabilia, but not to concern herself with it ,..... as long as she remembers that she is not on the promised land here and that she is not part of my chosen people . Thirty minutes later she had packed her stuff and left my service. I received a phone call from the agency about antisemitism and told them to contact my lawyers of they had any issues they wanted to discuss in court. That evening my husband had the best joke i have ever heard , when i told him what the sitter had told our son and what I had told her earlier that day resulting in her being gone, he just said . She took too many and too lengthy showers anyway (it was a live in nanny) and though he had no objections to having a clean nanny , she wasn't worth the gas bill so she was better gone . He also added that had she decided not to leave he would have stuck a sign on her bedroom door reading Arbeit macht Frei.

I understand she was a ball buster and Lynette didn't like her because she was making people work late, etc, but I think we all have somethings in our possession we don't want children messing with, its like Lynette saying go and play with your hair products, or something thats expensive to you and could get broken. You could see they were made out of glass, Lynette knew she had a temper and knew Carlos would say something if they came up against each other but something like out, now, would have worked just fine. If an adult told me as a child not to play with something you'd just stop, and my parents would agree I shouldn't touch other peoples belongings and apologised to the other adult for my bad behaviour
