paleologist here my research leads me to believe pallets have existed since the dawn of time. the pallet is as demi said made from the beard hair of our lord and savior god otherwise known as otzdarva or god as with the strongest minecraft wood. what gives the pallet its power is actualy anything strong enough to support 17 pounds of weight. draws its power from 1) the height of the walls 2) the window around the walls and 3) the incompatence of the killer. The way Hex: Blood Favor works is that it checks for health state changes in the game to activate, the thing with that check is that it also counts going from alive to dead as a health state change, meaning that whenever a survivor dies by any means, it counts towards Hex: Blood Favor and blocks pallets. (Reminder that this is a double edged sword, as Hex: Blood Favor has to burn through the entire pallet blocking duration to active again, and the pallets that are blocked are based on the location of the dead survivor and no your current location. Also the perk if cleansed does actually give pallets for survivors to use later on since they cant use pallets early on.)
