@@demirawling you're welcome ❤️ I'm Asian and have visited the Middle East many times from a young age so I've been exposed to oud for a while (it's one of my favourite notes). Westerners who aren't familiar with oud can't appreciate it: it IS an acquired taste for sure. But oud just gives fragrances that depth and lasting power (depending on how it's used). Thank you for this video. Hopefully it encourages more Westerners (and non) to be brave and try it. Ps. Thank you so much❤, amazing report ,I love everything about oud . Ajmal is a very good start for those who are new to oud , they’re well known in the oud industry ,still true and authentic to their consumers and didn’t go commercial like some others. But when you get addicted to oud , you start hunting for the hidden gems away from the big names in the market .You get your favorite oud oils from this retailer, your favorite zora from this , favorite char from that .. ets And now is the perfect timing to explore with all those Perfumes exhibitions that are held nowadays in GCC countries.

Very informative video, thank you Demi! I’ve always wanted to learn more about oud and how to differentiate an oud accord vs real oud, glad you brought it up here. I wish fragrance brands would disclose whether they actually used real oud or not. My favorite oud fragrances are Alhambra Oud by Ramon Monegal and Myriad by LV. The brands claim they contain real oud, but I don’t really know since I’ve never smelled real oud oil 😂

As far as ajmal is concerned, only products above 8000 inr are of good quality....im talkin abt perfumes, not attars. I have several ajmal perfumes and i regret buying them bcz they are so synthetic. But products above 8k are great and especially amir 1 and 2 are superb. Dhanul oud amiri and kadim are great ouds.

A great insight into this facet of the business. Oud is not something I have much experience with, and animalic/faecal oud is definitely not something I want to smell, on me or others, but fragrances like Oud Satin Mood (which is likely a pretendy oud) I find very wearable. You asked recently what new things you could bring to your channel... well, more of these 'educational' videos please 😊.
