Oh I’m so with you on this! I’m heartily sick of foody fragrances being bought to the market. I will buy an exceptional gourmand - I bought Bianco Latte - which I love. I’m searching for classy/clean fragrances. Teinte de Neige is my signature scent. I’ve recently purchased MFK APOM - gorgeous. Amouage Dia 40 is going to be my next purchase - sampling it now. I adore soapy/clean/powdery scents.

I love your new direction. I need to try La Pausa! Never saw. A little word about Chanel #5- I wore it exclusively for 25 years and I gotta say it's not the same anymore so I recommend you get some vintage bottles as well. I have an 80's EDC and it is much more animatic than it is now so I am left with a beautiful kitten smell when I wear it. Also it lasts 24 hours! I don't even mind that the top notes have changed because the deep drydown is beautiful. I really want to get L'Eau Papier- so amazing!
@deborahrosen16511 күн бұрын
Hello Demi! I went through a bottle of La Pausa by Chanel years ago and loved it!! I adore Iris scents ❤. Also, when I went to the Dior Spa this summer at Hotel Eden Roc, the scent of the treatment rooms was Oud Ispahan! I nearly bought a bottle then and there. It is warm and spicy yet not over the top. It’s on my wish list. Dior recently created a line of Extrait fragrances and I smelled the Oud Ispahan Extrait and it was way too strong. Love the original ❤. Also I went through an entire bottle of Bal D’Afrique a few years ago and loved that one as well! The Chanel 1957 fragrances is one of my faves too! To me it’s a fresh Neroli and Orange blossom scent. Perfect for summer and trips to the islands 👌. Really enjoy your videos.

Im happy to see Demi take a break from the vanilla/goumonds. Ive only loved one gourmond and that was Serge Lutens Jeux De Peau. Demi, dont feel pressured to stick to your guns. You're allowed to grow and allow your taste to change. I didn't like Imaginary Authors Bulls Blood or Lubin Upperten at first few but when i revisted them, I was in love. Bulls Blood was reformulated to something I didnt care for and then again. I havent smelled the last reformulation but ill always regret not getting a FB of the first one.

I despise most oud, but I adore my Oud Ispahan. So classy and timeless. Screams luxury and the ability to waste a surplus of expensive income (even if you can't). It doesn't bring compliments, people simply treat you differently wearing it. I can't explain it However I have an entire bottle that's nearly untouched of either Jasmin Rouge or Smoking Jasmin. Not my thing.
