mikelieber1 thanks. I actually have two of these cans now. They are great. The dog is a Chihuahua and a small breed of one. If raised right they are the best

I am thinking about buying one myself. If you stand in front of it, will it stay open? The old sensor can we had would close when we were in front of it raking food from our plate into the can. I want a sensor can that will stay open as long as I am in front of it.

Keyser Soze hello. Yes I believe it will stay open for about 30 seconds as long as you are in front of it. You can leave and come back and its still open. Please like this video and subscribe to help me out. Thanks again

Keyser Soze You can say “Stay Open” and the lid will stay open. I’ve only had mine a few days but when I stand in front of it, it does stay open because the sensor is telling the lid something is in front of it.

@@Johnhale Just got off the phone with Simplehuman Customer Support and they said, NO.... It does come with sample trash bags and that's it...
