@@myieshafreeman3363I’ve had mine for almost 3 years now. Voice command is consistently great and so is the sensor. I will say I had an issue with the lid/sensor, contacted customer support and they sent me a replacement lid and I received it in a few days .😊

The bottom line is this trash can has good features. However, it is common for these to fail! Ours was replaced under warranty and failed a second time just after warranty expired. It also would need retraining multiple times when it was working. Read all the fail videos before purchase. Maybe buy the step on can. It will be much less likely to break.

Matte black becomes problematic after a few years because the material tends to become sticky and there is no fix for it at all.
