Thank you for mentioning the 45-degree, or even a beefed up version of an auger-driven mortar pump

Another great feature on this MudMixer is that the mixer actually swivels on the base so you can move it while running. This way you can wheel it down a form while it's mixing and pumping! Great for small forms or walls or curb forms.

I was not expecting the video to end in the middle of the project

Nicest feature is that you can set the water ....that way you can put pretty much anyone dumping bags in and not have to worry about them mixing it wrong

Really helpful review., thanks. Wondering how the mud mixer would complete a pier foundation

I might have to do a similar setup. It looks like a great alternative to getting a concrete truck to fill those Sono tubes! Since I won't have a house water source, how much water do you think you used for the pour for that 7' x 24" tube?

I'm sure they'll be coming up with a bigger one that can do twice as fast. If they do, it'll be a game changer for jobs that are a few yards or less.

for the idiots leaving rebar comments, if you watched the video he showed you the freaking rebar skeleton going in. buying this today. have 7 footings and 30 yards to do on my property, short load charge for me is 350 bucks, doubles my cost. ridiculous.

Thanks for sharing. I couldn't really see, but on your water storage tank do you have a booster pump to keep proper pressure to the Mud Mixer?

Awesome review. Thanks. We are looking at getting one of these to develop our remote property with no running water as yet. What kind of pump were you going to use to hook up to your water tank?
@treadlightlyservicesllc.1930 Жыл бұрын
We have used the Milwaukee M18 pump we have also used the Milwaukee M12 stick pump it creates a little bit less pressure, but it still works great all you have to do is adjust the dial up a little bit more aggressively on the Mud Mixer

Thanks. I am going to buy one of these, and wanted to hear from an actual user and not a sponsored example.

That's why I wanted to make this I wanted to be as real world as it possibly could be running in a situation where there was no landline power or water and was completely self-contained it blew away my expectations in fact when I brought it back in another contractor came up to me and asked me all about it and he ended up renting it two days later

I bought one of these for several short pours around my new shop totaling about 4.5 yards to date and the mud mixer is amazing. It will pay for itself in about 1.5 more yards with the cost of concrete right now. We average 1 yard per hour on each pour. If you are pouring decent size pours I would suggest the hopper extension it is also worth the money.

At 3,000 dollars for the base model, it's not cost effective for the home do-it-yourself person!

if this is something you just need once or twice, the local rental yard usually have it between for between 75 to $150 it makes way more sense to rent it for a small jobs we rented multiple times and are purchasing one.

I love the idea of this thing but it's odd. I've watched a few of these Mud Mixer videos now and it looks so slow and like such a piddlin' amount of dribbles seem to be coming out of it but somehow that always adds up to FAST! I don't get it! If ya like Sci-Fi and have watched Dr. Who, maybe it's like the Tardis- a ship that's (much) bigger inside than out! I didn't know that we actually had that technology now!

"We're 12 to 15 minutes into this" isn;t a hell of lot experience to be recommending anything! You give further proof of your ignorance by referring to an auger extension angled up at a 45 degree angle? Maybe it should have wings as well??
