I love a tradition Hammond, but the portable is great for traveling like you said. I own a viscount legend organ and love it for travel purposes. I love them both.

I take it back. The XK3 sounds pretty darn good. I'm going to get an XK-3!

Also I can adjust the setting on the xk3 to sound just like the c3 even through the amp.

They are both the real Hammond! Now with the XK3 the difference with the liteness is my c3 is hooked to a Leslie and the XK through my bass amp!

Bro, it's like driving a hatch back Mercedes GLA for $30k new or a Mecerdes GT63S AMG new $161k. They are both Mercedes but they are NOT even close. You don't need all of the Leslie options when it sounds right. That Xk3 is perfect for traveling but that sound is not in the the same league as what was coming from the C3 combo. I happened to be listening through my headphones and I laughed because I thought you were joking at 1st. But it's all good, CZs look like diamonds too. It's 2021 now I wonder if your thoughts have changed today.

That sounds good, but you can tell which is the real Hammond. The xk3 was a little lite but the real Hammond was nice and Full. I would take a xk3 if I didn't have a real Hammond though.

It does sound good and also it has a 12ax or 12au7 tube in the xk3. I didn't have the tube preamp on on the xk3. I had it also hooked to a hl722 and you can't tell the difference. I wish I still had it but I sold it several months ago.

Xk3 lacks the fullness of C3. Xk3 is krap?

Yeah the xk3 or now 3c sounds really good. still missing something though. can't beat the wood and real tubes. you just can't. when you played that c3 it had something extra. all the electric organs can do is sample from real organs. they sound good but slightly less than a real hammond in my opinion.

At the end of the day the regular Hammond will always beat the portable

That Leslie sim sounds thin maybe with a real Leslie
