Jet is a beautiful unsuspected asset to the nation that needs to be protected. I'm honestly thankful and grateful to come across these two beautiful Bantu people. Azibuyele emasisweni. More life bant'abahle. I'm on journey mnt'omdala. One of self discovery. Tracing back my lineage and the Xhosa truth. The bones of my ancestors are shaking. The ground I trample on is trembling. Something has to give. For a while I've been hiding behind excuses. Leaning on my parents lack of knowledge leading to; Uninformed traditional practices and incorrect processes, Causing darkness to hang around for decades. Finally got to a level of maturity where this daunting journey seemed a challened I could not back down from.

Makhosi. Siyabonga. As for Black Tax, this is what happens when people appropriate others language expressions into our context. This term Black tax was adopted from African Americans use of the phrase. Consider how then Black history month and Kwaanza have been introduced in some of our local communities by people from the diaspora, when we have our own authentic indigenous practices to draw from. Makwande.

I liked this episode so much that immediately after finishing it I watched it again because I felt like I missed something. I'll probably going to watch again in a day or two. Wow I didn't know that bra Zakes (that"s how I"ve always called him) was so conscious but now it makes sense as to why we dont see him in the screens anymore. I liked the comparison of the yizo yizo characters, I definitely never watch it like that, maybe I was still young, I don't know..... I can not wait for part two after the break!

Uyazi ukthini? I love this podcast, and the conversations are enlightening, sometimes empowering, sometimes not, because I always come back to the question of how do we even start, as black African people, to redefine ourselves outside of the confines of the past?

Sir Jet Novuka is exactly like this even in person. Always speaking facts. Such an interesting and insightful conversation. It's one that is very important for abaNTU to hear and understand.

You left me with a question to myself if can I go as far as I have gone in christianity to understand my culture and being African. There are concept that are deeper in your conversation that left me thinking ukuthi if the Ntu people or spiritual being comes from far but where will it end. What is our final destination ? Kuba I believe that lonke uhambo lunesiphelo okanye indawo apho injongo zethu bezijonge khona kakade.
