He got arrested for breaking another protection order… how hard is it to not threaten people or put them down for not serving?

I am from the near future. This man lost again in 2024 just like in 2020 and 2022. This time he could not even win his own primary election. If I were him, I would stop running for Congress because he is a loser. What good is running for office if you cannot win an election? FYI, I am an Independent who usually leans Democratic, but I want people running for office to win and not lose and Ike has demonstrated that he is a loser, and he is a grifter too.

@@youngsu1911 --- Plus, no sane person wants to run for office a fourth time after losing three times. If Ike McCorkle decides to run again in 2026, he is totally insane. He should take a hint and admit running for office is not for him. Even Democrats in CO-4 no longer like him.

Ike will get arrested again for something stupid. He is a violent man with no self control. I hope people will see him like how I do.

As an independent, I'm really glad he talks about the Civilian Conservation Corp. and similar. It was an amazing way in the early part of the 20th century to give young people skills, work as a unit, and earn a paycheck straight out of high school without over-reliance on undocumented workers for the kind of work they do - it also creates a great source of genuinely patriotic individuals who may be willing to enlist in our armed service to continue their service - working on projects bigger than themselves. I also like his emphasis (like that of Senator Bennett) of a focus on building guest worker programs to counteract illegal immigration. Decriminalization of cannabis at the Federal level is also important. Right now, too many young people cant get certain jobs because, while it's legal at the state level - insurance companies wont let employers hire anyone with even a trace amount of cannabis in their systems (that's why car dealerships and plumbers charge $180/hr labor rates now). Another point is the support of Ukraine - this man understands the importance of security both inside our country, and for our historic allies. As a mild criticism - one of the biggest hits the US farming community has taken started with tariffs imposed on China starting by the previous administration (and continued by the current admin). This obviously resulted in a trade war. We were (once) cosigners to the Trans Pacific Partnership which was designed to curb China's influence and protect US intellectual property via the 12 country agreement - all *without* resorting to tariffs (which not only make Chinese sourced goods like hand tools, truck, tractor and auto parts more expensive for us, but also make US agricultural products like corn and soybeans more expensive for China. This has contributed to inflation we see today. Ike might want to look at alternatives to the current policies by both Republicans and Democrats. Had we gone the TPP route, we may not have to talk about higher taxes to support farmers so much. Everybody who is down-the-line GOP thinks they are rich, or rich adjacent - any time you "tax the rich", they think you're talking about them :D I'm definitely voting for Ike, because in District 4, the alternative on the GOP side may be nothing short of insane in my view. Ike has his work cut out in this district - it's all Trump country, I wont lie. Best we can hope for here is a GOP Ken Buck clone who can beat Boebert - nobody's going to vote for a Democratic party candidate here.

Great ideas, and a willingness to work across the aisle. I like the ideas for farm bill, immigration and social security. Judging a person on party and not substance is lame.
