Company valuation is based on AI, autonomous drive fluff. True that Tesla is leading but they don't have the product ready yet. So the compensation package was based on $600B pumped on FSD and RoboTaxi. More I read into the judge's arguments, more it sounds reasonable.

Elon's pay package was unprecedented, so the judge has to make a decision based on the facts and other case rulings that are somewhat similar. There is nothing to suspect the judge's ruling was anything but just.

The insider trading COULD be modified and used beneficially as a funding mechanism for needed initiatives, instead of corrupt politicians. Example: Gov't invests x% into company knowing it will benefit from future government regulation, then once it moons, those shares are sold to buy the desired public good (water treatment plants for example).

Tesla as a car company alone is overvalued. Why people are willing to pay a premium is they believe Elon Musk can achieve his lofty future goals for the company. In other words, they are investing in Elon. So why would anyone worry about him getting a massive pay cut? Obviously, they are worried he will decide to leave Tesla and take his ideas with him. I don't think he will but one never knows what Elon is thinking. People always interpret Elon's behavior as rash but in reality he's just thinking outside the box and they can't follow his thought process.

As a Tesla share holder not happy to see this and not pleased that the board is not securing the CEO time and allowing employees of Tesla to be moved around with no direct benefit to Tesla . Tesla should have shares in space x and X and be fairly compensated as he is taking resources snd benefiting privately . Question could he have done what he needed with X With out taking Tesla employees ? And same with space X Tesla shareholders need to be compensated with equity in those companies space x and X . If we paid 55 billion we own your time and you cannot work some place else with out giving equity back to Tesla in those companies .
