"Democratic Debate Is Being Killed!" Piers Morgan On Riley Gaines 'Assaulted' By Trans Activists

Piers Morgan slammed trans activists after collegiate swimming champion Riley Gaines was chased and 'assaulted' by a group of trans activists at San Francisco State University.
Ms Gaines was delivering a speech about competing against transgender swimmer Lia Thomas during the women's national college swimming championships last year.
Piers Morgan said: "We've lost any respect for the alternative opinion...this come to my belief that democratic debate is being killed"
Ms Gaines accused Thomas of being "An arrogant cheat who stole a national title from a hardworking, deserving woman."

Lia Thomas would have barely managed to have qualified for the olympics let alone been a match for Katie Ledecky. Ms Thomas's 500 yard time makes her the 15th fastest college swimmer, about nine seconds behind Katie Ledecky's record in 2017. In addition this whole transphobic nonsense debate has completely shut down the overall winner of the 2022 competition with eight records being broken by Katie Douglass. Lia Thomas won one race and did not break any records. The whole non-sense debate has been of great disservice to Katie. So much for the voice of women in sports. Katie is now looking forward to competing in Paris in 2024 which is great for her and women's sport. I doubt whether, if transwomen were allowed, if Thomas would have even qualified. How did Lia have an unfair advantage and how is she still dominating women's swimming? The results speak for themselves, she isn't.
