@@mellowsans2944 in the game, weapons can only get the strange effect, which allow it to track killstreaks, among other trackers and such. (for example, a strange Jarate can track how many players have been soaked with it) Unusual effects are fancy particle effects only meant for cosmetics such as hats, clothes, and even taunts. It is impossible to get an unusual on a weapon in vanilla gameplay. That particular Gold pan is special, since it was manually created by a Valve employee to have both strange kill trackers, and an Unusual effect. (With said unusual effect being exclusive to very specific items meant for community contributors). This was given to him back then as an award for helping squash some really bad bugs and glitches in the game. Getting something like this is no longer possible, since nowadays, the award for helping with bug tracking is a simple bug tracker themed hat, rather than custom made cosmetics or weapons.

this. I already had demo as my most played, but after finding Solars channel hybridknight has become by far my most played style. There really is nothing else like it around today. advanced movement techniques and projectiles make for an amazing combo. 2:10 Fun fact: Random Crits are calculated based on a "pool" of crits, which slowly fills up when you deal damage, and the higher the pool is, the more likely a crit is. Whenever a crit happens, it takes from the pool. AFAIK, every 500 damage fills the pool, and every crit takes 50% of it, and the damage delt in the crit doesn't add to the pool, so if you're dominating you tend to get more random crits. Bonus fun fact: Healing done _also_ adds to the pool, but since mediguns don't ever random crit the pool will stay full until you use your other weapons, which has given the Ubersaw it's stigma of having a high random crit rate.

Not quite. Random crits have a probability ramp that is calculated by the total damage you've done in the past 30 seconds (crit and mini-crit damage does not apply to this calculation, only base weapon damage), on top of a base probability for all weapons, melee weapons having a higher base crit rate. Mediguns unfortunately do not contribute to this calculation, and this myth behind them has been debunked.

My day has been made considerably better by Demoknight TF2 Content, and having watched a lot of your videos on Demoknight before, I like the touch of 1) the short explanation of the Extender, and 2) the slowdown to show it in use when it comes into play.
