'A lot of new developments in Sheffield and a lot of old buildings are being pulled down to make way for them.' We don't mind that as long as they are post war 1960s or 70's. ! This pub dates from 1914 and the council took ownership of it in 2006 and since then it's been a story of neglect and decline. At that time the building was in reasonable condition, but over the years it has deteriorated dramatically to this point. What's the councils excuse for that I wonder

It could been rebuilt and recovered but it's too expensive and building new building is much cheaper!
