DEMOLISHING players in a fully crewed gunship | Star Citizen Master Modes PvP Gameplay

In Star Citizen's 3.22.1 build on the EPTU. Master Modes had its most recent update which included multi-crew ships such as the Constellation Andromeda and the Hammerhead Corvette. Myself and members of the Forgotten Heralds put the venerable gunship and anti-fighter corvette through its paces in some casual free fly as we get other members up to speed on the new combat and flight model changes. And as expected, being free fly with no rules to hold anyone back, chaos ensues.

Squadron Battle in Master Modes AC is where the real fun is at currently, but sometimes it is just fun to load into a free fly session and cause some chaos. How have you been enjoying the changes Master Modes brings so far? What other ships would you like to see CIG put in next into the Master Modes experimental test? See you all in the next one. o7

I love how oppressive the Hammerhead seems against fighters. You’re not fighting it, you’re just trying to survive.

Considering the fact that this is a Sim of sorts the fact people say that Zergs is the deciding factor in combat is wild. That has been the case in combat since the dawn of time. IRL and in gaming. Force multiplication is so important that its the very reason at every level of the military anywhere it requires teamwork to match the threat at hand. Thats just common sense. No one is some super hero or main character in combat. You do your part and succeed as a group. Especially in flight combat. Fighter pilots dont do missions alone and always have wingmen for this very reason.

Fully crewed Connie looks amazing, would be perfect to see a merlin mixed in. Just need cig to invert the bottom turret now!!

Thank you! I keep repeating that it's perfectly normal that real teamwork (preparation + coordination + communication + tactics) gets the upper hand and that it's always the best option, especially against mindless zergs

Love these changes, this is how the game should be light and medium fighters should avoid larger ship at all costs if the larger one has gunners. Unless the fighters are in large numbers.

as a dogfighter with many hours in AC I know surviving will be rough for us now but man this is just how it should be, which is so great ! each ship should have a purpose !

Yeah, gone should be the days a single gladius loop de loops around constellations and HH's, and kill them in less than 5min. A fully manned gunship should be respected and torpedo'd from a distance.

Zergs are always the deciding factor since thats just combat since all of time. The fact people have issue with that is lack of common sense. Reason at every level of a military is team based. Especially with fighter pilots. Pilots never do stuff alone for this very reason.

There obviously something wrong here. A Connie crewed hammering a super hornet should NOT take that long to wipe it. Also the HH should obliterate the Connie.
