Despina made up for the anticlimactic first wall demo by doing cinematic shots of David sledgehammering the second wall😊 Smart decision to take everything down, the damage done to the upper bricks is visible. Ivi seems to approve as well but the birds aren’t very impressed. 😂 Are there only 2 pewpews now?

Excellent project to make the space more usable and enhance the look of your home. While you are taking it apart, why don't you make it wider so you can put furniture in it? Nothing like a day bed / comfortable sofa or dining set to sit on while you watch nature from the windows. Just a thought. You always do such a great job on your home renovations.

As you can see there is a window in the way on one side and their heater pipes on the other. Making it wider would be a whole bigger renovation.

@@carolineeberle8236 Yes, I saw the window and they could extend in front of the window on this side only. The window would not be a problem as you could see out just the same if they are putting in large glass windows on the new addition. It would be a bigger project, but the cost would be alright as they were thinking of making it two story and maybe they would not have to. It was just a thought. Personally speaking, we extended ours and we were so glad we did, as we love to sit and casually dine there. I am sure what ever they do it will be absolutely amazing and suit their lifestyle perfectly. They are such an innovative couple that work so very well together and their results are always top notch.

Yes, it’s all doable but I think they mentioned that they are using the original foundation which they said is in good condition. So a new foundation would have to be built as well as the roof line renovated. They also mentioned being on a budget. But who knows by the time they actually get to rebuilding that sunroom their plans could change. I’m all for expansion 🥰.

I did not know what to say when I saw the video about Despina's health situation. I found it hard to watch and impossible to forget . I hope she will do well, I spent many years dealing with my late wife's illnesses so I know what things can be like. I understand that you must press on and I feel that is the very best way for the two of you to deal with issues, work through them, striving for the light of things getting better through you own efforts. Well done, that sub-building had its time, it is time to rebuild and renew.

Good decision on the removal. Maybe you could extend it out further, especially if you are going to add a second floor. You will get a better view and space to add more sitting and craft area. The mose on the roof, shows its been getting alot of water on over time, possibly from the trees above, and seems to be a damp zone, could possibly be why it's all coroded over time.

Realistically these sheets need to be disposed of, they contain asbestos and the longer you wait the more expensive and complicated it gets to get rid of them.

You should really get rid of these asbestos roofing sheets before it gets incredibly expensive to dispose of that stuff! I assume the rules in Latvia are similar to other EU countries, which means you aren't supposed to cut, sand or pressure wash these materials.
