Saw Matt's video, and his reasoning made sense to me. I respect his choice. I don't really like the doubting of his motives or what he said. We've turned into a people who are always looking for the angle. Why not just accept what he said, respect the choice, let him live his life, and then just sit back and see what happens? If he finds a way to come back, I'll be excited to watch that. If he vanishes into obscurity, I'll be okay with that as well, and I'll hope he and his family have a great life. His legacy is already set, so I'm good to go with whatever he decides. I watched the New World Old Soul video, and it was great. Just like Tyler said, this opened up Granger and Amber's story to a whole new audience, and they were given the opportunity to minister to a whole crew of new people. I do understand, though, the desire to not always be "that guy".

I found Granger, his music and The Smith’s after watching him on Demolition Ranch and the recording of Country Things. I instantly fell in love and have never looked back. That had led to my new walk with the Lord through Amber’s Arise. I’ll miss Demo Ranch and truly wish Matt and his family the very best in whatever his future holds. I’ll always be thankful for the introduction to the Smith’s. Love them all! Yee Yee is now a part of my life as well. Neat to take a little walk down memory lane and remember when and where it started. Great podcast today gentleman. Yee Yee!! ❤😊

That's what I think it is because it was so abrupt and without warning. For someone like him who's been doing it for so long and been so successful, I always thought that when he decided to walk away, it would've been announced ahead of time. Something like a countdown, then a goodbye.

Nobody wakes up one morning and decide to tell 20 million sub's hey been fun, but chow ! not when he had so many plans for his future, His vision for the range etc etc.. So then the question becomes, what makes a man wake up and decided to throw his success all away??. Can only be 3 things, Family, Love or Illness ... All The plans and his visions he talked about don't just change overnight,, So Obviously its not something for us to know about or he would of shared .. I still have my 50cal tea shirt , the first time i eva bought anything on the tinternet. . I'd lost my father due to covid and the restrictions that was placed on hospitals, he died alone and we wasn't allowed to see him nor lay him to rest for 10 months and only 10 people allowed , My world was falling apart, Then when my Beagle suddenly passes i was in a very dark place, Granger Smith, Amber smith, Matt Carikka, LunkersTV, DDE You all was there for me, i had been diagnosed with genetic blood disorder which turns out to be fatal, Ive no next of kin no wife no children. So i really mean when i say i'm only here on the planet because you people like matt, like granger just normal folk that are genuine. Not sure if you remember us speaking and me saying you should play at home and live stream it. Also knew amber was pregnant by her eyes. God i sound like a right creep. But what i trying to say, badly... is all you people became apart of my life. You would upload certain time, so i would take my meds and set times so i be on planet earth long enough to watch and understand what i was watching.. Gonna miss all the goofy antics from Matt! I've watched all of his videos for at least 10 years! I was really looking forward to the Desparado Ranch getting up and going! If you want a pistol to carry in a chest holster go 10 mm Glock 20 or get together an SBR or AR Pistol and keep that slung on your chest. I would want .300 Blackout over a 10 mm anyday. You can build it a lightweight as you want I like a 10.3" pistol or 8" supressed if you want .300 blackout like the Q Honey Badger it would for sure handle a bore or Mtn. Lion if you came across one and it got froggy!

I am like Mat and Granger busybody. Then I broke my back never recovered had to close my business of 20 years. Now I’m a stay at home Dad and homeschool my kids and it’s so hard but I love every minute of being with my kids. But I do miss being out and about making money. My theory, Matt made a killing on videos of his whole family, including filming the entirety of his new home where he should be safe. Any long time watcher knows his entire layout of his home if they took the time to remember it. He films that he’s not home most of his days. My guess is someone tried attacking his family again and he’s finished with videos cause he wasn’t there to protect them. Sounds crazy, but then again, he wiped his family and Linc Active off the internet for it at first.. this could’ve been the last straw for him

I think it's more that he's not going to quit what he's doing. He's just not going to film it because he wants to do these things with his kids and wife. I think it's great he's quitting. So many KZbinrs don't know when to. Take Lawrence mcfarland for an example. He thinks this is going for 30+ years and it's not. His channel has gone stagnant with all the same copy/paste over-exaggerated crap a long time ago. I'm happy for Matt and his family. Matt spoke of his wife and children saying he was all the sudden keeping them off the internet (for some reason). At the same time she shut down her clothing on bunker branding. Anyone can. Wear a wedding ring and claim something. Tiktokers do it daily. I think things have been on the rocks or off for a few years now and I think Matt finally got burnt out or filming interrupted his time with the kids. Anyone can speculate but if you watched all the videos, the abrupt ending of mere being here and videos about his wedding ring all add up to much. It's ok. Hide personal if need be. I get it. But if you want to be real with people lime you always said don't give us a bullshit excuse in the end.
