New weird products, such as a single action hammer fired pistol in a new weird caliber that no one's ever heard of that's marketed as a "Bear killer" are VERY hard to market. This gun has a LOT of really interesting tech in it and stands margins above normal handguns in terms of power and penetration. But who knows that really, until they see it for themselves? Sending one out to a few dozen high subscriber gun channels is instant free advertising that will get their foot in the door and solidify their place in the market since people don't have to wonder if the gun is trash or not.

You can't get rifle-grade performance out of a Tokarev, which is closer to 5.7x28, designed to be a high-capacity sidearm for use within 50m or so. A Five-Seven will hold 30 rounds, but if you want to make 100+m shot you'd need to switch to a carbine. These are acceptable parameters for what these sidearms were designed for, but the FK BRNO Field Pistol (and it's more affordable little brother, the PSD) are designed to function as a second weapon with rifle-grade performance to a range of about 150m. It also carries enough energy to be a reliable one-shot shot on a hog, without needing to hit any vital organs directly. @@non9886 I think it might have gone through maybe 1-2 more if that's the case, it's most likely the fact it has a pocket of air larger than the projectile. What happens is that it loses a lot of energy with the impact, but it also directs the energy it could not stop in other directions So when it hits the second wall of the canister it's going to have a lot less energy affecting it than if the plates were just side by side.
