I haven't played for a while now because I don't have the internet at my home right now. But I do remember that I started pumping faith more because it has some great abilities. Especially Second Chance. And the mirdan hammer can make you sweat but with my max endurance and purple flame shield, they can't break through before losing their stamina. I agree though, that defense is the best route in this game.

Baby's nail and acid cloud always psyched me out in pvp. Not anymore because I always use them first :)

Meatcleaver is too easy to get and yes, it is overpowered. I hope Atlus or From Software will publish a patch to this. I still use it because it is fun to piss off people xD Thanks for comment =)

My only loss is to a Meat Cleaver when I was moving into NG+ and was overloaded with heavy arrows and didn't have the Ring of Great Strength to let me roll with armor equipped like I normally would as a result. I didn't expect to be invaded 90 seconds into 1-1 (bastard! :) ). I am going to keep my Blessed Mirdan Hammer +5 on me to see if that is more effective. I'm never going to carry so many arrows again. I was out of storage space and had my mind on offing that dragon.

I only use NR and I only host as well. I find it more fun to host, and it is also easier to keep pure white character tendency for the max physical bonus. I have endurance at 40 and pump strength and vitality. Having more health than my opponent is a necessity for me. And I just pump strength to slowly be able to wear heavier armor.

Oh yeah, Moonlight will screw you up. Especially since it has the shock value when people don't know what it is. They raise their shield and you scoff at them and take away about half their life when they finally realize they are quite unprotected.

Haha. Usually, when I'm attacked by a weapon that ignores shields, I really don't notice I'm taking damage until it's too late. For some reason though, people don't use those weapons very much. Everyone overuses the DBS lol.

You could try using weapon buffs on your cleaver. Black turpentine ftw.

what is the range on the meat cleavers roll hit anyway? I've seen videos of people rolling behind the invader before the roll hit lands and it STILL hits them.

I would have been so pissed if I got invaded while fighting Miralda, Selen, ect. :) The cleaver is ridiculously overpowered and honestly needs to be toned down a bit. I'm tired of that damn roll. Music from Kill Bill was awesome.

It is very cheap to invade in 1-1. I got invaded there(before I did't knew that people can invade there) so I invaded there couple of times after that.

@VergilGrimm000 sooooooo, you used a miracle that stop you from using your Firestorm spell and causes so much lag it could have cause your death easier, an other spell used only on knock down for an easy plague, but still easy to evade and finally banished him after all the herbs and spices used? That sounds like boring... But I never tried, to banish someone, might be funny xD

lets say i finish the game like 5-6 time and im in new game+6-7.. but i stay at 120 soul level.. will it still be the same? crouded like before ? or when u play on new game+6 for example u only face people who are on new game +6 aswell ?

I don't think the cleaver is overpowered at all. I never use, and so I'm speaking from the receiving end and I have only died from it like once. The guy had a clever rat's ring and he cursed it or whatever and had his health below 30%. I didn't realize how fast that roll attack comes out and he one hitted me with it lol. But other than that, it's extremely easy to beat someone wielding it. Hits from it barely even take my stamina down. They tire quickly and then I kill them.
