Great discussion… you had some interesting theories. 44:56 “And we got Tanjiro get called ‘Lord Tanjiro.’” Don’t think too much of that. I believe Lady Amane is just being respectful… she uses the honorific “sama,” which does mean “lord / lady,” at the end of Tanjiro and the Hashiras’ names, but I feel like she’d probably call anyone that is a part of the Demon Slayers corps the same way. It shows how grateful she is at everyone’s dedication, as they are literally putting their lives on the line each time they head out. That’s the feeling I get at her demeanor. It’s like how she bowed deeply in front of the Hashira, and they were shocked, as ordinarily, they are the ones that should be bowing deeply to her as she is temporary head of the Demon Slayers Corps.
