it's not, idk why so many ppl say this lol the whole point of Ubuyashiki's plan was to make Muzan to drop his guard. besides, he knows wisteria wouldn't do a thing to him.

@felipeaquitral the whole mansion is covered with wisteria. Just because it doesn't work on him, doesn't mean they should cut down all of that. Also if they really cut down all of that, don't you think that could have made Muzan more suspicious? Also, about making Muzan drop his guard, he is a dumb villain in my opinion. He has been trying to find Ubuyashiki for so long and his demon slayer corp has been causing him trouble for so long. So he should have assumed that Ubuyashiki isn't just like any normal human. But when Ubuyashiki implemented his plan in s4 ep8, he was completely shocked. Because he thought of him just like any normal human. So he is really dumb but powerful lol

​@@Dibyawanders no, it's just headcanon that's been repeated by some fans with not a second of thought. wisteria doesn't even burn demons, it poisons them lol Ufotable wanted to give Muzan a mysterious and menacing aura, that's it. he's basically Dracula, that's why when he magically openend the door he brought mist with him and that's why the smoke stopped as soon as Muzan's walk stopped (if there's wisteria in the house he should still be "burning"). it's an stylistic choice. the scene is not even in the manga.

@@felipeaquitral is there any official statement from Ufotable? If yes then give me the source because I can't find any. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't remember seeing how exactly wisteria works in the anime. I remember Shinobu used it to make poison and use it on demons. Maybe I assumed that it could burn because of fans saying so on the internet. I usually don't read any manga, I only watch anime. So if I'm wrong then it's because of those fans who have no idea what they're talking about Even if Ufotable decided to give that "aura" to Muzan, it was probably only for the sake of that particular scene. Because he had no such aura in s1 when he was in the market with his family (fake family)

The smoke around muzan is not visual effect it is really westeria in the ubushiki mansion burning him.. But it is not effecting him since he is constantly regenerating.. Love you reactions ❤❤
