@@daniiieru717 they used actual movie CGI, the same types of softwares used to make ultra realistic VFX for hollywood quality movies. Thats insane budget and time for this show. Actually crazy scene with infinite budget

That explosion was a 3D rendered simulation. It was really well made, given that they are very heavy to render, very time-consuming and require special expertise. Traditional anime studios don't really invest in that direction.

Information: Everyone who dropped in the infinity castle were the ones who were located by the Biwa Lady (the lady that was controlling those eyes with her biwa) which means every single demon slayer that exists in the entire demon slayer corp have all dropped in the infinity castle and since nezuko wasn't located by the Biwa Lady, she is perfectly safe and fine with Urokodaki

Man i think the first movie is gonna break anime movie records for sure, its the final arc in the anime and mugen train is already at the top of anime movies in box office records at over $500m i wouldnt be surprised if it breaks $750m with the animation being even better than what it was for mugen train and during the tengen vs gyutaro fight but the real question is could they break $1b? That would be insane like obviously the whole trilogy should and likely will break $1b but if they do it in one movie when the closest one was their own movie at half that.. that would be insane

Rent out EVERY SINGLE SEAT in the theatre and record your LIVE reaction (make sure your camera only faces you and not the screen), then once the movie comes out online, sync it with your theatre reaction. I've seen someone do this when Fate Heavens Feel III came out in theatres and Dragon Ball Super Broly. I REALLY felt the GENUINE hype from watching the LIVE reaction. That's just my suggestion. If you don't like this approach with the first movie you've still got 2 other movies to switch it up. Just a thought since I doubt many reactors would try this.

fun fact: they did it with fate too where on of the routes was 3 movies and released in 3 years, each movie was raising the stakes higher and the animation was getting crazier, and now with their experience, the final arc is gonna be the best project that ufotable have ever worked on, this is 10 times better than the manga( i have finished it) ande i am dead hyped even tho i know what is happening .

Then again the DS story is extremely linear and more easily adaptable/basic then the fate VN so itll probs be fine

@@Zhangjiajie425 I meant animation wise, but fate story overall is sooo confusing, I watched unlimited blade work(series) and the next month watched heavens feel 1. And after a month or two I was watching part two and when I saw gilgamesh and Ilya I was CONFUSED like I still thought that she kinda died like ubw and it took me the whole movie to realize that “ oh, that was ubw”. If we’re talking about the perfect way to adapt the series, then its best to give it to larger companies like mappa or something since they can put more budget and the artist have enough experience, but let’s be happy that it’s ufotable and not the one that adapted Tokyo ghoul, they slaughtered the whole thing, but at least if you watch fate consistently and don’t watch anything in between, you can understand the story and enjoy it( I haven’t reed the manga so I don’t know what they changed or didn’t show) but I think that as long as you understand the plot and be able to enjoy it, it’s fine like Tokyo ghoul season 1. Season 2 and the RE got most of it skipped to get to the fights and ended up skipping the fights since they had to do more skipping to get to the next one. But I’m sure your point is valid since demons story is pretty much straight forward and not something like fate. when I started fate it was for the animations stuff and it was perfect, but I don’t think story is ufotable’s thing but it was enough for me, so I can agree with you. It really sucks when a series you love doesn’t get a good adapted and ends up disappointing in one way or another. But at least we can enjoy demon since it’s mostly fights from now on

Apparently the end of the DS story will be over in 3 movies part 1/2/3. The animation director who choreographed the Upper 6 fight with Tanjiro/Tengen will be reprising his role for all the fight scenes in the Infinity Castle and Showdown arcs (last two arcs of Demon Slayer). Ufotable has been given a "white" check for budget for the movies for these final arcs.... you know what that means!!! Be warned. The ultimate fights are about to begin.

They did wolwide special screenings for the season premieres of S3 and S4. While it was definitely a blatant cash grab, they might've been trying to see how simultaneous international releases perform. They were quite successful, so hopefully we'll get simultaneous releases for this trilogy too. It could possibly surpass mugen train in terms of profit
