A point of clarification (NOT a spoiler), because they will be seeing a lot of it: - The 'effects' like the 'water' coming from the blade, or any other effects they might see later on, this is only put in there for the benefit of the audience/viewers. There is NO actual water or any other elemental matter that is being generated or created from when the Demon Slayers do their moves from their swords. It's just put there to illustrate the "styles" that they use. Tanjirou is using a STYLE called "Water Breathing" so the animators put in these water effects to illustrate that. The demons don't actually see anything, any water or anything like that - because humans can only enhance the strength, speed, agility of their bodies, but can't use "supernatural" powers to generate water, fire...etc. The Demon Slayers can only use their sword skills and to make it look cool, the artists put in these really cool animations. I hope whoever reads this will communicate this to the people reacting. Thank you! Ps. This is probably the Homies' best reaction so far, Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the best animes ever created

Spoilers Yep that's true the effects of those elements are technically real but they can't be literally seen by the characters themselves. Like Zenitsu's thunder breathing can't be seen but his technique was so precise it replicated the sound of thunder and Tanjiro was able to hear it. I'm guessing tho that demon art isn't the same or it's just as exaggerated because everyone was able to see Tamayo's blood demon art flower hallucinations.
