From my standpoint, in Asia DS is more loved and popular then AOT is but fans their don't care much about AOTY. Same with MAL. 35.5%( maximum) of MAL is occupied by wester fans. Japan,China, Korea, taiwan have less then 1% users. Overall, DS is pretty unlucky in terms of awards against AOT and MAL rating ( MAL ratings dosent matter anyway😂)
