I think that's mainly down to the villains. But it's honestly my favourite season.

Idk man I dont fully agree. In general I think Demon Slayer is an enjoyable series with a lackluster story, but this season in particular the pacing just felt super bad. The episodes felt like stuff happened at the beginning then for 12 mins its a lot of pointless talk and pointless analysis then at the end of the episode something else important happens. Although in the end it was enjoyable idk if I would put it anywhere near a masterpiece especially with the not amazing pacing and lackluster story and imo although the characters are cool, I feel like the side characters should get a lot more screen time and development since tanjiro pretty much gets everything.
