I love Inazuma Eleven, but the king of sports anime will always be Slam Dunk. It still sells incredibly well and was bigger than anything in the 90s

i wont say inazuma eleven is the real king of sports anime i say its endevduel cures for me the king of sports anime is kurokos basketball and thew cykel on whit jamachi

For me the best sports anime, are haikyuu and diamond no ace, sry but if a "sports" anime has superpowers or close to it, for me it isn't sports anime, it's simple the biggest difference with sports anime is that it gives you the will to go out and play the sport if a sports anime can't give you that it's a failure as a sports anime. One animation that i liked with sports a lot was, galactik football, too bad it never ended.
