To copy what most are saying, you can plant and grow seeds on natural flooring (though it does feel like it grows slower.) As for attaining seeds, I have had a decent amount of luck getting random seeds from killing various plant monsters, and have gotten seeds from chests in bandit camps. Certainly good to know that seeds of specific crops show up in the farms.

To any future vampires who find this, here's some updates: -by default (or some castle tier, idk), you can craft farm plots. These require either no ground covered, or Polora's grass plots. -Polora also adds garden pots to grow more compact plots that can be put indoors, as well as a large plot that can support trees. -Merchants sell seeds based on their region.

@@agedgouda8809 Never tried pots outside or farmland plots inside, but I assume you can put both in either, as long as you use grass for the farmland indoors. Another note: trees block the second story floor (or whatever floor is above the tree plot).

Also, yes, you can get seeds from your own crops. I managed to get two bloodrose seeds, Not sure if worker's blood proc a second seed. I read online that worker's blood Rounds UP to the next number, netting double seeds.

@@lokikokoko5833 Silver Resistance will allow you to carry more silver without taking damage. There are potions, gear, and bear form that can increase your silver resistance. When you pick up silver you get a debuff that stacks, similar to garlic, that can help you keep track of how much silver you can carry before taking damage.

Just a heads up....You can get seeds from your own crops, at least some of them. Just got a sunflower and snowflower seed from my own plants. It's a low(really low) chance to get a seed, and I'm going to guess the percentage is different for each plant type, but it's there!

the higher tier the plant is, the lower the drop rate on seeds is, i have a massive personal farm with exactly 100 of each plant type (took me a full 2 weeks of farming coins to buy up all the lotus seeds i needed lol), and out of that the number of seeds i get back from harvesting the plants is that i get usually 4-5 seeds from low end plants every harvest period, i get 1-2 seeds from the mid range plants, and RARELY i get 1 seed from harvesting the end game plants (highland lotus/ghost shrooms (i assume trippy shrooms would act the same as ghost but haven't gotten many of those from farming them in the wild). it's apparent that the devs clearly want you to be able to become self sufficient with the personal farm potential as well as the followers providing you all the resources you could ever need when you hit a lvl 4 castle and populate all 9 servant spots, which if they wanna make any future content meaningful, they are gonna need to have some kind of resource sink (which is gonna suck epically for newer players), or they are gonna need to invalidate most of what's currently in the game when they do their big content update this autumn.

Yup, Was cutting some Blood Roses and got two seeds. However I'm not sure if I had workers blood at the time. I read that if you do, the Number Rounds up, Netting 2 seeds from one harvest. I need to review my Last 5 minute clip I took.

You DO get seeds from your planted crops. Dropchance is just so low that you shouldn't look for your 5 blood roses to give you seeds but actively get them outside and just be happy if you get some during harvest in your base. I kinda ran out of space for some of my flowers already and I keep stacking up more and more seeds back home as I harvest but it's not a fast process by any means.

I was able to plant the seeds before getting the garden tile. Idk why you would need it. Just plant them outside where there already was grass.

You can buy Highland Lotus seeds and Ghost Fungus seeds from a merchant who spawns within the Slums quarter of the city in Silverlight Hills. They cost 200 silver each.

Additionally, low-tier seeds are a common drop from chests in Farbane woods. Cotton seeds are a common drop from chests in the Dunley Farmlands. Highland lotus and Ghost Fungus seeds are uncommon chest loot from Silverlight Hills and the Haunted Woods areas.

If you grow your plants in decorative medium growing plot, you get more chance to get seeds when harvesting. SO start working in 3 days you ll have the biggest coton fields in the world.

lol people really got tilted over the garden tiles when they just cost plant fibre and blood essence, must be hard out there for some fledgling new bloods... I think people miss the part about the internet being a place to share knowledge with one another and build something that spans across the world at a moments notice, not just be degenerate holier than thou trolls who belittle someone who has the courage and initiative enough to share their thoughts with a community on something they enjoy, AND its an early access game lol we are all making our own strategies and learning as we go and reaching out to help one another enjoy the game more. I think the thing people are salty about is when a video titled 'How to get more seeds' is about 5 mins of a guy explaining how to plant seeds, giving some vague as fuck and incorrect information about the game, and pretending like he's a bastion of knowledge on the game despite referring to two enemies *scarecrows and treants as bosses, not knowing that seeds can be bought from traders, and not knowing that high worker quality blood increases the drop chance of seeds, oh. And how about. Not needing to get the grass recipe in order to plant seeds. All you need is a patch of claimed ground that has grass on it. You don't need to kill any bosses to plant seeds.

Mantraps are the plants that pop up from the ground and spits poison. They look like they are from Super Mario and can’t move. You find them in the first zone of the game.

It's a little weird, but you need to put the seed on your bar (1-9) then click that number and it will activate the build.

You can get seeds from your own crops it's crazy rare however. Killing the snapdragons, regular treants and even regular mobs can get you seeds. I do find a slightly better chance of getting seeds from ransacking the larger villages and Brighthaven containers.

Yo I'm a total noob in the game and I am already loaded in various seeds even though I still can't farm yet because I didn't kill that boss, she's next on my list though. I find seeds pretty much everywhere in every camp, as long as I break litterally everything that is destroyable : tables, chairs, barrels, racks, pots etc... You get the idea... Kill the mobs, and break everything. Some flowers I even got the seeds of before seeing the actual flower for the first time...

they are rare drops from the BIG trees in Dunley they have like a giant Y or a V to their branches, just chop down those trees and those trees only and eventually you'll see a bag pop on the ground that gives you X acorn seeds

Best way to get seeds is to have high worker blood and chop down the plants you want. Alternatively, you can kill scarecrows and trents

Hey Demone great content man. Question. Does it pay to farm bosses in this game like Diablo? I know if you beat the boss first time you get their power but any other reason to farm them or they just one and done kills?

Early on if you need greater blood essence you can get unsullied hearts to drop from them a little more frequently than most other mobs. Other than that there isn't much reason that I've found.

@@SpartanWarrior76 yeah only until you get the recipe to make greater blood essence out of regular blood essence. Once you get that they can be used to completely fill your blood pool in one use. You'll get it around lvl 42 the boss is lvl 46 I believe so you have to be on point to fight him. Me and my duo fought him as soon as we could because that recipe makes the whole game easier.

You can get recipes from bosses, such as merciless gear. I've only ever gotten those from bosses. Definitely worth farming

Completely missed soooo many other seeds and where they drop. Ppl EXTREMELY misjudge the importance of Acorns (NOT pinecones). As acorns produce massive natural shade, look nice, and extremely durable when placed around Tombs...... also Treants and Scarecrows are NOT boss lvl by anymeans

depends on the type, 'tree' seeds take about 5 day/nigh cycles to grow, and they have 2 stages of growth, meaning the longer you leave them the bigger they get meaning more lumber if you plan to use them for resources and not just as a set dressing piece for the garden. in terms of actual plants themselves, i think it's a 3 day/night cycle from harvesting to repopulation again, i haven't seen any changes in spawn time based on the type of plant of what tier they are, so do with this info what you will.

I have 3/4 merciless clothes cannot get the last to drop i got a duplicate but none again from V boss tracking..My weapons are from turning in paper random research and one book drop tracking bosses.Make sure to smash up the bandit camps lots extras drop.
