Fruit some tips for you from someone who has invested A LOT of time: -You can perform tricks off of ramps or jumps to get a speed boost by hitting the drift button right as you leave the ramp. -Picking up coins gives you a minor speed boost and also slightly increases your top speed up to a maximum of 10. -Bikes and cars and other vehicles have different controls and drift mechanics. -When you pass over the blue strip and your wheels turn sideways, bumping into things such as other players gives you a speed boost. -You can hold the item button to hold certain items behind you to protect you from red and green shells. -There are different levels of the starting line boost depending on how good your timing is. -The Splatoon character was a boy. :p Hope you see these and they help! Definitely would like to see you do more!

Omg 5:10 this is the most relatable thing I've EVER heard. Whenever my neighbor and his little brother came over we always used to give his brother the wii wheel but without a controller in it so it's basically a plastic wheel without any use in the actual game and me and my friend had the actual wii controller cuz i only had 2 controller and we did it like for 4 years without him noticing.

Some pro tips: Press the drift button when going off ramps to do a trick. Drift when you can. The boosts they give are vital. While drifting, move your analog stick left and right as much as you can. There's three levels of boosting: blue (small), orange (medium) and purple (large). The more left and right motion you make while drifting helps build up that boost quickly. Acceleration is the name of the game. Slick tires are your friend once you unlock them. The coins exist so that you can unlock new parts for your kart. Whatever character you use has special stats so it might be worth looking up what characters have what stats. Lots of people like to use slick tires and Wario. I play MK8 on a competitive level so hopefully you see this :).

Pro Tip: If you hit the drift button when you are just at the lip of a ramp, you do a spin move in the air giving you a speed boost 😉 If you're not sure about the timing, double or tripple tap when on the ramp to activate it BUT do NOT steer in any direction except straight ahead or your character will try to side drift, potentially sending you into a ditch ... Also, hold down the item button when you have a green shell, red shell or single banana to drag it behind you and block hits. Works most of the time, with exceptions (like a flank/side-angle hit or a mid-air hit).

😂 Oh the tilt at the end 😂 There are probably a lot of these tipp-comments, but anyway: -if you hold the itembutton on an shel or banana and such, you hold it behind you and it acts as a shield -red shels only home forward, shooting them backwards is most often a waste -coins do increse your speed, yes 😊 Gif you press the drift button on top of a ramp (or something similar) you get a little boost like from a drift But good job out there! 😁

Mr Fruit. Red Shells target the person ahead of you when thrown foward. If thrown back they go in a straight line until they hit a wall. Green shells bounce off walls no matter what direction thrown in.

Two things i noticed that would help you do better. First, Get the coins, cause when you do after 10 coins you get a mini boost every time. Second, hit the drift button when you hit jumps and ramps to do a trick and when you land you get massive boost. Hopefully this helps!!!!
