Ok hopefully you see this, but here's a few tips from a Mario Kart 8 tournament player: The 2.5% speed boost only happens when you have 10 coins. It's best to either pick a crazy heavy character (top speed) or a crazy light character (acceleration). In most cases, a kart (not bike but some bikes are good) with roller (small red) wheels is your best bet for success. Try to space out your mushroom usage a little bit more. When you overlap you're wasting the rest of the charge on that mushroom. Try to use mushrooms primarily to get over terrain that would slow you down. Your first bike you used had an inward drift, which is why you couldn't make it work.

Pokemon battles in smash Two teams of 3 players in squad strike mode. A 4th person tells the players in turns what moves to use. You can only use the name of the move (For example, fruit is the "trainer" and rhabb is playing as jigglypuff. Fruit must say "use rest" and not down special). The battles dont have yo be turn based. The pokemon (players) can only do what the trainer tells them, including blocking, dodging, etc. You can do it so that the winning team fights a boss at the end, either incineroar or mewtwo (these two cannot be picked by the players during the trainer vs trainer battles). The players may play any other pokemon in the game (pokemon trainer, pikachu, lucario, etc.

1. Press accelerate as soon as it says 2, sometimes you gotta wait a small moment as soon as the 2 appears because you know Mario kart is kind of finicky. 2. Press the drift button a little before the turn and don’t panic if you are really close to the edge unless someone is going to bump into you. 3. Press the drift button on bumps and ramps and it’ll help give a little boost 4. The blue columns in the middle of the road on some maps spin in a different direction, follow the direction forward and it’ll boost you 5. Stay directly behind someone and wind animation will show, stay there long enough and you’ll boost past them and maybe even other players close by 6. A little box will show up sometimes in your item inventory, this helps get rid of shells and other people trying to pass you, just time it right 7. Be careful when you get mushrooms or the 8 item; other players can steal them but vice versa ;) 8. Sometimes obstacles or monster things on the map can make bumps in the road, press the drift button and it’ll help boost you 9. If you have shells or fireballs move the joystick back and it’ll help shoot them backwards (and can shoot bananas forward). So far that’s all I remember off the bat, but I’ve been playing since Mariokart barely came out on the ds. I play sometimes with my guy friends and they accuse me of being a cheater, but i guess that helps them sleep better at night. ;D Hope this helps Fruit. Now make me proud!!!

i used to be what you are now hears at tip tho play by your self on 50cc then go for first place every race if you dont get first by the end of all the tracks restart to cup race then keep gong for the first place cup until you get it then by the time you have at least 3-4 cups you can manage any thing above 5th with eeeeeeezzzzz or you can do this on 100cc if that more comfortable but you got this i believe in you :)

Fruit I'm a Mario kart veteran I used to play mostly all Mario karts So I'll give u tips: Use the mushrooms on straight roads or else there will be a chance u would fall or hit the wall Use the star in desperate times like if ur in last or its the last lap and ur second place and the guy whose first is near u Don't use the boost(mushrooms) while gliding it's just a waste If going too fast use the nearest player as a roadblock Drifting can be used as a boost And finally stay calm staying calm makes u think better plus yeah just know that there are people worse than u so yeah stay calm cause that's my number 1 tip that's how I win against my friends and cousins

The trick is that there are a lot of ways to get little boosts. But before that, you need to learn when and how to drift. You also need to learn to not take the corners so fast, i.e. don't boost mushroom when approaching a sharp corner. You also need to do the drift slightly before the turn or else you'll turn too wide.

You can use the bumps on the road as speed boosters. If you flick your joystick when jumping the bunp, you get a snall boost. If you use it every bump, you are so much faster.

When you drift, turn the joystick the opposite direction so you can drift for longer and not fall off maps. But on maps like at 6:29 on those turns you want to turn it the same way you want to drift so you can get around quicker

Fruit just in case you did not know different car parts have different stats. That might be why some people are faster than you or drift better. When you pick your parts there is a button to see the stats I think it is minus.

Fruit i suggest a Kart build to help you in 50cc-150cc and 200cc. Bowser, Pipe Frame, Slick Wheels, standard glider for 50cc-150cc. Bowser Jr, Yoshi Bike, Leaf Wheels, Standard glider for 200cc. Bowser is too heavy for 200cc and will always go off edge, smaller characters have the best control as well as bikes and any type of wheel with great handling. Bowser being the heaviest is great for momentum and consistent speed but should never be used above 150cc. Learning how to brake and jump boost at the right times helps ten fold. This game has a lot more skill involved then meets the eye. Hate to see you suffer, hope this helps
