The saiyan raised on earth himself. Demoniacal fit hit this one on the nail head on. This may be the best goku figure to drop thus far (excluding the new namek ssj goku). He looks and poses immaculately. Amazing review, Ace.

This figure scratches a ton of itches we have as fans of the DB line. I bought two, one for goku and one for a mystic gohan using the new gohan head which matches almost perfectly in skin tone and the ball peg is easy to swap. Love this figure!

I knew from the 3D Rendering promo images that I would love this figure. The updated faces, hair sculpt and body proportions ticked every box for things I was growing tired with the Figuarts line. With the likes of Tonsen and others making really good looking head sculpts - the official Tamashii faces and heads began to look as if they took a ton of Goku head images and got the average of them all - making generic "Goku" faces. When 5kToys put up the pre-order ages ago I got it day 1. Then when the 2nd payment email came out I had that paid within the hour and it shipped out that same day. This figure has not left my desk since, and I have been messing with the articulation. Not only does it look amazing, it has way more range of motion everywhere except for the upper torso joint. This has replaced all my other base form Goku figures as the definitive version.

Great review, didn't expect Demoniacal Fit to release something new instead of just copying Tamashii (granted the body is taken from Ultimate Gohan). The kanji on the base is Goku's own name ("Go" from Goku).

Great figure and review. This is THE best base Goku and possible best goku figure period man. But you made a mistake. Goku at his peak was from the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai to the end of Frieza Saga. Minor mistake 😂

This figure looks amazing! and bonus the new battle damage ssj gokus head can fit on this, now I think Tamashi Nations will release their own 3.0 Base Goku to counter attack DF also I think Dstar01 has some conversation neck pegs to put 2.0 Goku heads on the 3.0 body

I feel like I've slipped into a pocket dimension where everyone is seeing a different goku than me. There's a lot I like (the more poofy leg sculpts, the face plates) but I'm not a big fan of the hair-to-face ratio. I feel like the super hero head is better, and more faithful in terms of the volume and shape of the hair. And again maybe its just me, but the arms seem a bit too big? And the shoulders a bit too small. I'm looking at the newest ssj goku release and the arms seem much better proportioned. Having said all that, I think this is going to be one of those figures where I really need to have it in hand and pose it around before it starts winning me over. I'll probably still pick it up because hey, never too many gokus, right? Saiyan Raised on Earth is currently my undisputed #1 goku.
