I'm studying online so demonstrations like this are exactly what I need to conceptualise chemistry concepts. Thanks for the video!

That moment of realization when the volumes of the forward and backward reactions are the same: just wow. Truly a special experience. I am #blessedtobeawitness

this is so good! I never understood this practical before

Good demo. I will try to have my students do the experiment with straws instead of beakers tomorrow, and plot the volume change in each container with each liquid transfer. I hope they managed !

Loved it when he "continued to dump." What a great guy

Good demonstration. I have one questions in mind, what if the uneven beakers are flexible like a rubber beaker? Will the equilibrium still be feasible (meaning, every time each beaker will take its full capacity out and transfer)? Is that the case of a forward only reaction?

so the rate constant K allows for a different amount of 'products' than 'reactants', is that correct?

How would this simulation be affected if you use the same size cylinders to transfer the water?
@GravyMate9 жыл бұрын
Shania Ines the concentrations would become the same, so the volume of products and reactants in the bigger cups would become equal

Good simulation. I really get that.

Is a 'demonstartion' a demonstration that happens at the start of a lesson? Bc if so, cool. I dig.

My teacher taught me that the numerator was on top and the denominator was on the bottom. Why would he teach me that? Was he wrong or are you?
