Thank you for the free information you provide to the world. My chemistry teacher teaches like she doesn't understand the reasons behind certain things and tries to get us to memorize steps instead. Which isn't learning, but either way isn't how I learn. But this channel is literally the reason I'm doing so well in Chem 2e.

17:09 Sir, adding an inert gas could increase the pressure so the position of equilibrium will shift to the right since products have less molecules, therefore CO decreases.

Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a basic Introduction into Le Chatelier's Principle of Chemical Equilibrium in AP/General Chemistry. According to Le Chatelier's Principle, if we disturb a chemical system at equilibrium by adding a species (reactant or product), the reaction will proceed in such a direction as to consume part of the added species. Conversely, if we remove a species, the system will shift so as to restore part of that species. This is how I interpret Le Chatelier's Principle of an equilibrium system. This is an error free video/lecture on KZbin TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
