Demonstration of the Hallicrafters SX 130 receiver

I recall as a young kid in the late 60s, many of the neighbors had these types of radios. Hallicrafters was a name I heard often. The next door neighbor had Heathkit equipment that he assembled.

In all my years I had never seen that one. It was their design vision of a Hallicrafters SX-110 replacement with some carry over styling of the early 60s in the dials and slide rule with a modern 70's industrial type case. Very strange yet awesome find Burt! I wonder how well they sold because we mostly see 110's for sale.

so whats the best way to ground these units i have a small radio transmitter aerial, ,that just just doesnt seem to do the job., or is copperwire the best
