Leveling up. Ditching Limitless cyber 12k. After watching your videos for a couple years...CMAX has been bouncing around in my head. Just nabbed 45ah of the smaller cells. Adding a 3rd DS18 EXL XX12. Taking your lead on fans too. Ditching my 3 stinger fans for a 16" radiator fan to blow on both monoblock and 4ch. Installing 28th of this month. Giddy about it.😎

Yeah those limitless batteries are trash IMO. CMAX is great if the bank was built right and you have the proper charging. I hope you're charging around 15.5-16+v for it to do what you expect. But the exl xxb (model before the HE version) and the exl xxhe have always impressed me. I have a single 12.4 exl xxb on a smart 3k at 2ohm and for a daily I can't complain. Sounds like the new additions to your build will be awesome

@@DustinG33 I won't be getting the maximum. High voltage worried about the rest of my electrical. I have a PCM module that pins it at 14.8. only room for 1 alternator. All this in a 2013 Camaro SS. Not an ideal bass vehicle but love it.

@@DustinG33 agreed cyber 12k. I saw one opened on KZbin. Mostly empty. Tiny cell at the bottom. Worked ok with 5000 watt amp, but drops to 12v on 7k. 12k handling as advertised is complete bs.

@eversoul43 I feel you I had a Cmax bank set aside for like a year because I wasn’t in a position to risk bumping up my voltage and doing more damage than popping a headlight fuse. I know my buddies 2013 Tahoe didn’t pop anything or have any dash lights come on until 15.9v when he used a pwm control to adjust his voltage. I would suggest you try going up to 15.3-15.5 since at 14.8 your 45ah is really like a 25-30ah depending on how old the cells are. My experience Cmax didn’t really shine until 15.8-16.4

@@DustinG33 I don't have a clue how to.run 15.9 with 1 alt and keep main electrical safe. Potentially a future project. If they advertise the Cyber 12k as being 38ah, I'm certain CMAX will outperform it regardless.
