its not bad question how long will it last lol now not sure if that is a 4 ohm sub if it is and that amp was ran at 4ohm probly be like 2000 to 2500 rms witch probly would be a little nicer to the sub with box rise i have same amp but the 8k 2 ohm model it sez it sapost to be 5k at 4 ohm and im satisfied with the amp i bought it from ebay it was refurbish think it was like $240 like 8 months ago they sent me 1 ant it was wet on the ends ant the bottom they took it back sent me another one same thing wet even box was wet i contacted them again they sent me a brand new one and these ones wernt from florida becus i was going to buy it from the florida place witch was the actual ds18 place and they were sold out so i paid 40 dollers more like 240 for it from California i think it is a steal dont think you can get them that cheap anymore anyway im running the 2 ohm 8k version at 4 ohm on 2 wolfram 12 mercurys 2000 rms 300 ounce motor and super happy and i had a 12k taramp md imma see this summer how it sounds when i ad my other 2 12s total of 4 12s and run it at 2 ohm and build a 6th order in like a honda crv probably im sure ill want more power later but i try to do everything as efficient as i can so is that how you blew your other 5k if it is i been wondering becus you told me they do the power then i herd deez nuts say you blew one i started to get scared thinking man hope this amp dont blow up i was scared with the taramp thats wy i got rid of it lol

i hate the static from the bass knob that comes with an amp but i like having my clip light
@JasonWW20003 сағат бұрын
Normally you don't get static from a bass knob. If you do, it's a sign that the potentiometer is dirty. Try spraying some electrical contact cleaner inside the potentiometer and then move it back and forth a lot. That should help clean the contacts.

2 Hyanka 15s on 3-4k prob do great but personally I would go XFL or Slapz. Budget options are good that's what keeps the market in range of the average person.

I would recommend buying a used or reconed for budget, specially if you're going to bang on it. Something like a xv2 for pretty cheap. I like the Savard HiQs too for budget builds. Haven't tried the Hyanka tho so cant speak on it.

@JasonWW2000 Having a few metal fabricators in the family can be beneficial

@@z1berzerkerNot in this case. There's physically no room for multiple alts. This is why no one does big builds in Sequoias. This is why Parker got a Tahoe.

On most full bridge amps, I only turn the gain up, leave everything else off/to the left. Headunit/ dsp take care of the rest

Jerry if you turn the steering wheel until the flat part of the steering shaft is horizontal you can get right to that middle plug. another trick is putting the spark plug socket on the plug and using a wrench on the back of the socket then turning it out by hand.

Jerry this is Robert lee from blackville sc. I wanted to know what's the price of you building me a 12-15 4th or 6th order wall in a 2002 chevrolet suburban. I have 10-15s no wall in it now. I was trying to sell the truck first before I did the wall or trade for another wall build. But I just wanted to see what will it cost me to do the wall build.
