I really can’t understand why this channel doesn’t have more subs?! Your musicianship always shines through in your demos.

@@DemosInTheDark any recommendation on a MIDI controller to handle both of them?

Gotta watch this again and again. Good walk through. I especially like when the delay is on the background but makes the verb more lush and swirling. Amazing how many original sounds it can let you make. I will have to try it once.

Mate, what a review. Just riff after riff, all enhanced by the gorgeous reverbs. Around 18 and a half minutes, think it's the plate reverb, just wow. I'm going to spend some time tomorrow when the kids are in school messing about with some reverb. Also, it's a really cool design on the pedal too, the drop ripples. Good work as always!!

I really enjoyed watching how much you enjoyed this pedal. Its a great machine. I grabbed one a few weeks based off of your (and a couple others) review. Couple of niggling issues with noticeable volume drops which I hope they can eventually update with some sort of firmware patch, but aside from that, it's a brilliant pedal.

thanks man! that pedal is a BLAST!

Awesome review! I have one but haven't had much time to dive into it yet. Also own a Particle 2 which is an absolute killer delay. Question - how do you create your backing tracks? I love the bass and especially the drum beats!
@DemosInTheDark3 жыл бұрын
oh yeah, time is required on this puppy! thanks for the kind words! i make the backing tracks myself. i am always buying sampler instruments (drums specifically) and the "breakdown" part was a drum loop. bass was a fender p-bass. cheers!
@eom_like_um3 жыл бұрын
great pedal! if i remember correctly the old context had a damp function where you can get the sound darker. does the low mix work like that? and if now how can you get a darker, mellower sound?
@DemosInTheDark3 жыл бұрын
there is damping with the shift control on those high and low functions. i didn’t cover some of that deep stuff because i was already staring down the barrel of bathroom breaks in the video.

Been having similar fun with a combination of Fender’s Marine Layer Reverb and their Treverb pedal.
@DemosInTheDark3 жыл бұрын
ya know, i haven’t even tried those yet. are they cool?
@tonybrooks4763 жыл бұрын
@@DemosInTheDark yes. Very much so. The MLR has an incredible modulated pad sound that it just fabulous. It’s all I uses it for. And as for the Treverb well as I got it for £99 second hand rather than £179 it’s the bargain of the year for me. The harmonic trem with some extra reverb added to it is just beautiful. With the MLR going in to the Treverb it just adds gentle wobble to the modulated pad and helps add movement. You should check out some of the Fender pedals. Sensibly priced quality products.
