Oh that little piece has been my favorite so far hope I'll see it completed. It would be the perfect coffee table just not so big no more then a couple of inches of resin past the edge of the wood. All the curves and crevice s are beautiful.

Could you show how you correct the goods left by the clamp down blocks used during the pours? Also, do you get a layer of resin on the underside of the piece and if not is it left unfinished?

CNC is the real money maker. The rest is just manual labour. Nothing would be acceptable without the big BIG CNC machine. Nice vid.

They use a deep pour resign formulated to their specifications and branded under their company name. They have used other epoxies in the past but they were unable to get the same performance as their own branded epoxy.

Yes we used our Black Forest Deep resin! We don’t recommend sealing edges because it compromises the bond. Our bubbles will rise during the slower cure time and pop on their own 👌

Just curious as to why you guys pour so much wasted epoxy over your tables? I know you have a CNC machine to take it off but why waste so much? Wouldn't it be less expensive to fill in the blemishes etc than the cost of all that epoxy? Has to be 4 to 5 litres extra seems like.

We over pour so it fills up all the little cracks and voids in the wood so we don't have to come back and fill them later, and also the bubbles flow to the top so if we pour a little excess we will end up planing off the bubbles instead of having them in the table.
