We support them outside the US in countries dominated by US Empire and we can't wait to see revolutionary change, but we know it takes time and effort. We support that. If Greens don't win the White House but get 5% for official party status going forward, that's progress and Butch is running for California Governor in 2026, that'll be another people's platform he can speak from. Raised in the "black, radical, revolutionary tradition" + a PhD university intellectual + an identity of victimhood + Green Party virtuous superiority + an ardent convert to Islam + a "public servant" who is 'above' politics + sounding like a crypto anarchist = a person whose introduction to the levers of power would result in nothing other than autocratic tyranny. I grew up on section 8 housing, and my mom had to do the same exact thing in order to keep it. When my wife and I were expecting our first child, before we were married. My (then) girlfriend was calling various programs for assistance, and MANY of them DIRECTLY told her to leave my name off the birth certificate and to stay single (at least on paper). Even though I disagree with Butch and the Greens' economic policies as a Libertarian, I have to say that Butch's descriptions of why voting third party in order to fight back against the disingenuous betrayal of the values the "purple fascists" tell voters they espouse in order to trick them into voting for them, are probably one of the most salient and well expounded versions of that argument I've ever heard. And I've voted for at least 10 or more Libertarian candidates in various elections in my life who tend to begin and end that argument with "if you're not voting your values, you're wasting your vote" or " how can you spoil what's already rotten". Those are also very good points, but just saying that is a bumper sticker level analysis at this point. Huge kudos to Butch. I really could never vote Green but all anti-duopoly candidates could learn from how he drills down so much more effectively on this psychosis D and R voters have that destroy this country and facilitate the corporate rigging of elections.

That’s awesome and thank you for that! Just fyi they have been doing that! Check out the story of Matthew Hoh’s race from 2022. He is an amazing veteran, father, and leader who would have been a powerful Green in Congress. DNC operatives used every dirty trick including calling registered Greens, pretending to be the Green Party, and tricking them into changing their votes! The Greens had to take them to court for that (again) and WON but of course it was after the damage had been done. The Dems fight the Greens threat to their power from the outside but then they also often join with the Repubs (and AIPAC of course) to fight progressive DEMOCRAT candidates who threaten the establishment from inside the party. (Nina Turner, Marianne Williamson, and RFKJ are just a few examples.) Both parties have a long, suppressed record of using every anti-democratic tactic to keep We the People from actually having people in office that represent US. Taking power from the top is the only way to beat the oligarchy (by getting money of politics, etc.) Thanks for the fair listen! 💚🇱🇷🗽

As an Australian Green voter, I can tell you from experience, from little things big things grow. Our Green Party started as a little independent party in our smallest state founded by one environmental activist, Bob Brown, and friends. Now they hold the balance of power in parliament. It can and does happen. Be part of the solution. The solution is Green 💚

Butch Ware is soooo good. And he was spot on about Democrats losing the vote forever.

The Democrat Party is finished. The working class is pissed off at them.
@DS-nw4eqАй бұрын
The opposite is true, unfortunately. Both parties are incompetent, but the Republicans have no positions other than they aren’t the marxists. And too many people are looking for handouts as a solution to the problems that the neomarxists have caused. Those Trump tariffs are idiotic because he and his team are idiots.

I hope and pray they are finished. I was a lifelong Dem until I woke up a few years ago. After what they’ve done to RFKJ and other third party candidates (and therefore to We the People) and undemocratically installing an unelected nominee in this election) I will never vote Dem again. I hope there are many millions of us.

@catsmeow Not only is the working class highly anti-Democrat and openly hostile to Democrat policies and officials. They have to deal with a VERY angry Muslim voting bloc in Michigan and other swing states as well as younger black males under the age of 50 rapidly breaking away from the Democrat Party. That’s why attack Trump mode is in full throttle and if somebody kills Trump then it is what it is. According to Dems.

The working class has been replaced as core to their constituency...

I have completely left both parties. Probably for good!

And so you will stand on the sidelines while the Dems finish the job of turning the country into a totalitarian state.

It's definitely for good! The two parties stink.

I live in California. Butch Ware has my support and vote for governor.
@LoserBushShrubАй бұрын
He’s not running for governor. He is the Vice presidential candidate with Jill Stein
@NonyaSmithАй бұрын
@LoserBushShrub Jesus Christ. Did you even listen to the whole interview before you opened your big nay-saying mouth? No, you didn't. He states he has every intention of running for governor in CA in 2026.

Glenn I did not know about this brother. Thank you. As always honest journalism.

A strong third party would be great, at least there would be more triangulation in politics and more accountability

We have to have their platform in the mix representing the needs of the people.

I watched the Oprah/Harris infomercial and this video back to back. There should be a warning against doing so. Thanks, Glenn and Butch. Listening to cogent political discourse between two adults not captured by corporate dollars is nourishing.

Excellent questions! Super interview. Getting more and more impressed with Butch Ware! Extremely intelligent, sincere and with the kind of passion that drives movements. STEIN/WARE 2024! The movement is building a great deal of momentum. Vote your courage, NOT your fear!

Thank you Glenn for having Butch Ware on your show to speak for himself. You truly are someone who has always demonstrated moral integrity through your diligent work to uphold principles of freedom and humanity. Much respect and appreciation for both of these men. I already registered for the Green party and am eager to vote for Jill and Butch, and will stay with the party after the elections to help it build its base. The time for a reckoning and electoral revolution has come to truly save democracy.

Pls consider voting for 3rd party/Ind candidates running for office in the down ballot races as well.

It's heartening to see younger people getting into politics. We need the voice of Butch Ware on the political table. Glenn, I really enjoyed this one and have learned so much. Thank you!
