Great tutorial, thank you, I have always been dubious of Burda magazine patterns they seem so daunting, but your explanations have helped me a lot,It has definitely encouraged me to have a go.

Fantastic tutorial! Burda should give you employment!! So many people would be more willing to buy the magazine if more patterns were demystified like is. Thanks so much for all the time and energy you put into these vlogs.

Thank you so much once again for sharing this video. I was really wondering whether burda style magazine offers instruction about the construction of the patterns. And you made my fears vanish. You are so helpful. Have nice and happy days sewing. .

Another great tutorial. You should have your own tv programme. I do agree about snipping into that seam allowance on the facing.

Great tutorial Rachel 👌and it looks great on you 💕. My very first jersey t-shirt was a Burda pattern and it asked fir you to put the sleeve in, in the round, which has definitely taught me that you don't always have to follow the instructions to the tee 😉. Your idea of clipping the v neck seem allowance sounds as though it might do the trick with stopping it roll. Would love to know if it worked if you do another one 😁👍💝😘

yes it definitely needs clipping in this lightweight jersey

Thanks Rachel, I also wondered about top stitching so great that you understitched and thanks for the feedback. Do you think you would still understitch and just snip or topstitch? I just need you now to do a sew along for the skirt which Burda styled it with! Only joking! Many thanks for this as it was my first choice from the June issue. Have a wonderful holiday.
@StitchedUp5 жыл бұрын
I think in future I would either understitch and just snip or topstitch

Grhh wish I’d watched this before making this top. I’ve literally just made this top and have stretched out the front and back neckline. I’m walking away from it now and having a glass of wine..
